Keystone Mountain Resort

Keystone is a beautiful mountain resort that has made some great strides in the past few years.  There is a lot of new development happening, which is bringing in many new hotels, condos, restaurants, and bars.  Not to worry though…Keystone is still a quaint, pristine mountain town offering spectacular views and great skiing.  Keystone is also the only resort in Summit County that offers night skiing.  It can be cold, but the slopes are less crowded and the view from the summit is beautiful!

Three Mountains to Explore

Keystone Mountain

  • Almost a third of Keystone's beginner terrain is on Keystone Mountain.
  • Keystone's expanded terrain parks and pipes are also located on the easily-accessed front side. Both are lighted at night for 11-1/2 hours of big air and tricks.
  • On the backside of Keystone Mountain, discover 70 acres of steep tree skiing and snowboarding in The Windows.

North Peak

  • More than half of North Peak is rated more difficult to advanced, with plenty of bumps and steeps.
  • The Alpenglow Stube and Timber Ridge Food Court at the Outpost are perched on North Peak at 11,444 feet.
  • Take a break from the action and hit LaBonte's Cabin for a snack in between North Peak and Keystone Mountain.

The Outback

  • The Outback, Keystone's third mountain, offers skiers and snowboarders more than 800 acres of gladed terrain and bowls.
  • With steeps, trees and bumps, The Outback is for intermediate to expert skiers only.
  • The Outback is located about six miles away from the base areas, giving skiers and riders views of other mountains, trees and powder.
  • A short hike from the Outback Express lift provides skiers and snowboarders with steep, wide-open bowls in South Bowl and steep chutes and powder stashes in North Bowl.
