Buckrail Lodge Description: The Buckrail Lodge offers 12 beautifully appointed spacious cedar log rooms with cathedral ceilings and Western decor. Quiet location at the base of Snow King mountain. Park-like grounds. Large jacuzzi. 100% non-smoking. Family-owned and gracefully maintained. Short, pleasant walk to Town Square. Additional Information: The Buckrail Lodge is unique among all of the available lodging in Jackson Hole. As a result of its authentic nature, this western style property was one of the settings selected for the Clint Eastwood movie "Any Which Way You Can". The twelve room lodge is located on nearly an acre of beautiful grounds and mature trees at the base of Snow King Mountain. This coveted setting affords our guests a quiet haven for rest and relaxation while being a short walk from the historic Jackson Town Square and other attractions. The Buckrail’s lobby is bright and inviting. Mornings include freshly brewed coffee and tea as well as free daily papers, which feature news and activities of the region. Make yourself comfortable in one of the lodge pole couches or chairs and plan the day’s activities or enjoy one of the many books on Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. The staff at the Buckrail is always anxious to help you take full advantage of the area and to ensure you maximize your time. We are year round resident of the valley and can provide you with first hand information on almost any activity from hiking and biking to floating and fishing. During your stay with us, please take advantage of our knowledge to help you plan your activities. Amenities: Step into a guestroom at the Buckrail and it's like entering the master bedroom in a western log home. The rooms are western red cedar throughout. Vaulted ceilings with fans add to the spaciousness. All rooms include guest controlled electric heat, two beds, a sitting area, writing desk and expanded cable television. Furniture is all native western pine. The walls feature original prints from a local artist and abundant lighting is provided by custom designed fixtures. Large bathrooms include excellent lighting, large corian sink/counters and tub surrounds and tub/shower combinations. No other property in Jackson can offer an amenity list which includes all of the following: Cozy lodge with 12 beautifully maintained cedar log rooms. All with at-door parking. Spacious, park like grounds in a private setting surrounded by mature spruce and aspen trees. Easy access to the Jackson Town Square with its art galleries and distinctive shopping. Minutes from Snow King Mountain with its scenic chair lift, alpine slide, horseback rides and hiking trails. Large, outdoor hot tub nestled into the trees where you can soak and, on our many clear nights, enjoy the stars. |
