Prominent European hotel architect, Mr. Charles B. Onderdonk, designed the Peery Hotel in the early 1900's, during the mining boom. The restored grace of the Peery Hotel awaits travelers today with unparalleled luxury at affordable prices.

The timeless charm of the Peery Hotel awaits guests from the moment they enter the cut glass double doors into the stately lobby where distinguished service awaits. The Peery Hotel provides a personal touch to travel. Because of the small size of this historic property, staff is able to get to know guests on a personal level, and provide a greater range of service.

Guest Rooms

Each guest room at the Peery Hotel is distinctive, with differing configurations and design. Repeat guests do not usually ask for any special room because they like to be surprised by a new luxury experience with each stay. Richly furnished in period pieces, each room features luxurious wool carpeting, bed benches, lounges and ottomans made by the finest craftsmen. Colors range from warm beige to elegant gold complementing the warm wood and cool tile of the luxurious bathrooms. Pillows are imported from Europe, filled with 550 lb. fill power goose down and covered in 300 thread count 100% cotton, allergy-free ticking. The luxurious sheets are 100% combed Egyptian cotton. Antique light fixtures adorn the period furniture from Alexander Jullian.

Simmons Elite mattresses are handpicked for the guest rooms and suites. A recent guest at the hotel insisted on purchasing the bed he slept on. The gracious service staff suggested he order directly from Simmons for a brand new mattress, but he wanted the one from "his" room. The Peery Hotel concierge promptly shipped the mattress to the gentleman's home.

Pedestal sinks with antique brass fixtures grace the classic tiled bathrooms. Towels of the finest 100% Egyptian cotton terrycloth and cozy terrycloth robes are provided in each guest room. Essential Oil products are waiting to awaken the senses and bring a new height to personal care. Made from the finest essential oils and plant-based ingredients in Corte Madera, California, they are pure, gentle and naturally fragrant.

62 Classic Guest Rooms: These architecturally unique rooms each feature a canopy bed and offer a classic European feel. These rooms offer the perfect way to indulge in a comfortable night's sleep.

6 Parlor Suites: All of the Parlor Suites are architecturally unique in design and offer the spacious comfort of a sitting room adjacent to the bedroom area. The elegant furnishings include a canopy bed and a sofa sleeper.

2 King Suites: These one-room suites include a king size canopy bed, sofa sleeper and a gaming table. Each suite has a unique layout and presents a relaxing and luxurious stay.

2 Deluxe King Suites: Encompassing all the amenities of the King Suite, the Deluxe King Suite features a jetted tub in the bathroom. Travelers are sure to relax and unwind in the inviting comfort of these suites.

The Historic Peery Hotel Wedding Suite: This is truly a unique suite that has been celebrated for years as "the wedding suite" in Salt Lake City.
