Later, sleep like Rip Van Winkle in our queen bed, elegantly decorated with hand-hammered tin panels. Or, watch a good movie on cable television or one of the complimentary videos provided by your hosts. The cozy sitting room, with your own fireplace, offers a romantic evening for two. The Sussex is a popular favorite for honeymooners--or anyone celebrating "that special occasion." Windsor Suite Lords and Ladies alike will enjoy all the comforts of the delightful Windsor Suite. One can sit majestically in an antique "English Gentlemen's" chair in front of a real wood burning fireplace while watching television at the same time. If simply relaxing is your thing, you night take a long soak in the over-sized jetted tub or unwind in a hot shower. After enjoying the evening bedtime mint on your pillow, snuggle under a down comforter in the dramatically decorated queen-sized canopy bed for a restful night's sleep. Bristol Suite Listed in the popular national magazine, Romantic Homes, the inviting Bristol Suite (sometimes called the book room), will surround you with an atmosphere of great novels from the past. The selection of books conjures up visions of Ernest Hemingway, Jack London, et al. A snug sitting room with comfy winged-back chairs, a queen bed, cable television with VCR, telephone with voice mail and an extra large jetted tub completes the Bristol experience. The Brighton The carved classical four poster bed and lavish down comforter surround you in a style befitting graceful ladies and mystical Knights of Medieval England. In the lovely sitting area, settle into the stylish curve of the the bay window, while drinking in the splendid view of the manicured lawn and garden of Haxton Manor or simply watch the lights of the city. Allow the cares of the day to easily slip away in a one or two person jetted tub with delightful bath salts. A hot shower is also available if that's your preference. Later, watch a movie on a large screen television hidden discreetly in an ornate armoire. The Cambridge Nestled in a quiet back corner, the Cambridge allows for a relaxing evening for one or two. Designed as a typical castle room, you will readily enjoy stepping into a steaming shower or watch cable television while lounging on a queen-sized bed. If work is your thing, a desk along with a data port and home with voice mail keeps you in touch with your associates so you never miss a call. The Hampton The Hampton is named after one of the historical owners of the house, Hampton Godbe. The room is typical English, down to the sink located in the bedroom. Its ground floor location allows for handicapped access. Relax in the large shower or watch cable television or a movie on the VCR from the comforts of a queen bed. The Hampton meets the needs of the most discriminating traveler. The Stratford Perfect for the business woman or business man or just the weary traveler, the Stratford is wonderfully comfortable with most all amenities. The twin-sized bed is crowned with a luxurious down comforter. An extra large shower is provided to help wash away the cares of the world.
