Park City, UT ski resort inn offers romantic lodging accommodations near Salt Lake City, Utah. The bed and breakfast is a perfect mountain resort for a ski vacation in northern Utah.

Additional Information:

The Washington School Inn is one of Park City's last remaining historical treasures. It is one of the few structures which survived the Great Fire of 1898. The Washington School Inn is listed on the National Historic Register and the Utah Register of Historic Places and has the distinction of being named one of the “Great Inns of America”.

The 12 newly renovated Guest Rooms all have private baths, telephones, TVs, internet access, and are lavishly appointed with cheerful wall and window treatments. Beautifully decorated, the rooms are sure to please even the most discriminating guests. No details have been overlooked, from the luxurious feather beds and down comforters to the plush terry cloth robes in every room. Distinctive period furnishings perfectly complement the Inn's turn of the century architecture.

The Grand Suites are lavishly appointed with every detail assured to spoil even the most fastidious guests. Feather beds, elegant down comforters and exquisite furnishings are only a few of the unique features in every room. Oversized classroom windows, quaint dormer windows, brick chimneys and curved entry porticoes transport you back to a time when craftsmanship was prized and the pace of life was much more relaxed.

Featured on the main level is the living room, with its soaring 20 foot ceiling, massive stone fireplace and cozy reading areas. The adjacent dining room offers a lovely setting to relax and enjoy the scrumptious breakfasts prepared each morning. The library area, located on the mezzanine level, provides an excellent location for small meetings or an inviting corner to enjoy afternoon wine and refreshments. The lower level contains a spa, sauna and lounge area as well as private ski lockers and full bathroom with shower.

The Inn's knowledgeable and friendly staff offers a full Concierge Service and is readily available to assist guests with all their travel needs.

Wake up to the aroma of freshly-brewed coffee, a delightful assortment of fresh fruit, delectable pastries and hot breakfast entree baked daily by our Innkeepers. Whether you ski, snowboard or simply enjoy the great outdoors, Park City has something for everyone to enjoy. When the snow melts and summer arrives, Park City and the surrounding area abound with hordes of activities such as the famed Summer Concert Series, the Annual Art Show, the Senior PGA Tour and the Annual Rodeo, to name just a few. One of the most easily accessible mountain destinations in the world, Park City is a mere 35 minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport. Whether you choose to rent a vehicle or use one of many available shuttles services, the scenic drive provides a glimpse of the beauty that awaits you upon your arrival in Park City.

The City provides a free transportation system that serves all of Park City and the nearby recreational areas. The Inn's knowledgeable staff is readily available to help you with your transportation needs.

Winter Directions: Exit I-80 at Highway 224, Kimball Junction Exit. Turn RIGHT onto 224. Keep going straight (6 miles) until the stop sign at Heber Ave. SR 224 becomes Park Avenue. Turn LEFT onto Heber Avenue at the Kimball Arts Center. Take a quick RIGHT onto Main Street. After two blocks, turn RIGHT just before the QUICK SILVER Snowboard shop. Turn RIGHT on Park Ave. We are a large limestone brick building on the LEFT with a flag and a bell tower.

Summer Directions: Exit Interstate 80 at the Highway 224 Kimball Junction Exit. Turn Right. Stay on 224 approximately 6 miles into town. Highway 224 becomes Park Avenue. Drive past Albertsons, City Park and the Kimball Art Center (all on your left).

Park City's many award-winning restaurants are sure to please even the most discerning palate. The Inn is a 2- minute walk from the heart of Main Street where a large selection of dining establishments offer varied culinary styles ranging from fresh fish (flown in daily!) to innovative Southwestern, game and excellent steak house. Following dinner, wind down your evening listening to jazz or stop at one of the local clubs to dance and mingle with the locals. A perfect ending to a perfect day!
