Remodeled park city condo rental near Deer Valley, this park city condo has hot tub, fireplace, computer & Park City Condo extras; Closer than a Dear Valley condo to shopping, town, golf.

3 BEDROOMS - 3.5 BATHS
This all-suite townhouse is completely remodeled with special features, listed below, and all the comforts of home. It is so conveniently located that you do not need to rent a car. Imagine being directly on a cross-country ski / golf course, a block from shopping / cinemas and only three blocks from the Park City ski lifts! The historic district is nearby and two other world-class ski resorts, Deer Valley and The Canyons, are a couple of miles from the condo. All are easily accessed from the free shuttle stop just steps away! Each bedroom has a private bath, TV and queen bed; two bedrooms also have extra twin beds and, there is a queen sleeper sofa. With six beds, the unit sleeps up to eight.

Configuration: Most other 3-bedroom condos have only 2.5 baths. This condo has a Private bath for each bedroom, so with a total of 3.5 baths there is less "get ready time" and more privacy. Although each bedroom has its own TV, noise between rooms is minimal because none share a common wall and all have solid wood doors. This helps assure a quiet night's rest for all guests. Vaulted and high ceilings on both levels provide spaciousness. The redesigned first floor has an open and functional layout with a coat rack, bench and boot/glove dryer next to the front door, a gourmet kitchen near the middle and the living-dining areas and fireplace in the back. Covered parking is directly in front of the unit and the lockable outdoor atrium is fitted for ski storage. This makes it easy to load and unload the car.

Capacity: Maximum occupancy 7 adults, with at least one couple, or 8 with children. It is perfect for families, 3 couples or 3 to 6 single adults.

Flexibility: For smaller groups, there is a an adjoining 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse with 4 beds. Please see Unit 253. For larger groups, the ParkCityTownhome (Unit 254) can be combined with Unit 253. Both units share a driveway and have adjacent carports and patios, however, there is no interior access between the units. Together, the two units sleep up to a dozen people with 5 BRs, each with a private bath and TV, plus 2 sleeper sofas and a total of 10 beds. During the off-season, the lockout suite in Unit 253 can be be combined with Unit 254 to provide 4-bedrooms and 4-baths.

Location:
The Park City Townhome and the PC Townhome (Park Avenue Units 254 and 253, respectively), are located 30-miles east of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The adjacent townhouses are ideally situated three blocks form the Park City resort lifts, just several blocks before the historic district and only a couple miles on either side of Deer Valley and The Canyons. Both units are also on the White Mountain 10km Cross-Country Ski Course (winter)/ Park City Golf Course (summer) and are part of the 132-unit Park Avenue Condominium complex. The entrance to the complex is directly across from Holiday Village Mall (anchored by Albertson's supermarket) off of Park Avenue, between Kearns Boulevard and Deer Valley Road. At the entrance is a free shuttle stop and a cross-walk that provides convenient pedestrian access across the street to another shuttle stop and the shopping center. The units are only two buildings away from the entrance and complex amenities, as more specifically described below. Please see the aerial view and Maps.

Driving Directions from SLC Airport:
1. Exit the Salt Lake City Airport and get on Interstate 80 (I-80) East for 4-miles.
2. Merge with I-15 South/I-80 East southbound for 2.5 miles.
3. Continue on I-80 East for 21 miles.
4. Get off the I-80 freeway at the Kimball Junction / Park City Exit #145.
5. Go south on Highway 224, which becomes Park Avenue, for about 6 miles.
6. After passing Kearns Blvd (Hwy. 248), take the first right turn into Park Avenue Condominiums, directly across from Albertson's supermarket.

To find the townhomes after entering the condominium complex, make a right turn onto Captain Molly Drive. Go to the second building on the left facing the golf/ski course. The second unit in the building is # 253 and the third unit is #254. Voila. If you need to pick up keys, you will need to go the one of the rental offices first, discussed below.

On-site Rental Office:
After entering the Park Avenue Condo complex, make a left turn and the on-site rental office is conveniently located left of the heated outdoor pool. This office is open every day in winter (December-March) and summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) with hours from 8AM to 10PM in winter and an hour or two shorter in summer. During the shoulder seasons the on-site office is normally open only on the weekends (Friday-Sunday) from mid-afternoon to mid-evening. The phone number is 435-649-5114.

Check-In/Out Times & Key Return:
The normal check-in time is 3pm and the check-out time is 10am. However, a late departure or early arrival time can often be obtained by calling the on-site office, or if it is closed, the main office. If you arrive before the unit is ready or need to vacate the unit before you depart Park City, on-site amenities are available for your use. Before leaving, please return the keys to the rental office.

Late Arrivals and the Main Office:
If you plan to arrive when the on-site office is closed, please try to call 435-649-5114 in advance to arrange for a key pickup in the lock box next to the office's entrance; (a 3-digit code is needed). An alternative for a key pickup is to use the main rental office for Identity Properties. If you need to arrange a late arrival with the main office, call them beforehand at 800-245-6417 or 435-649-5100. Though the main office is open 24/7 in the winter season, it operates during normal weekday business hours (9am-5pm) during the summer and shoulder seasons. Therefore, on weekends during the non-ski season, the on-site rental office is open while the main office is closed. Identity's main office is located on the left (east) side of Park Avenue shortly after the Radison Hotel. Upon seeing a "Lodging Reservations" sign in front of a brown single story building, make an immediate left turn onto Saddle View Way (next to an office park) and another left into Identity's parking lot.

Amenities:

Features: This luxury townhome has a private hot tub, woodburning fireplace, washer/dryer, Sony Home Theater System, (32" TV, Digital 5.1 Ch. Stereo, VCR, cassette & DVD/CD players), TVs in all suites, boot/glove dryer, 2-phone lines, outdoor gas grill, private libraries and more. In addition, a computer with Hi-Speed Internet access is connected to the all-in-one (printer-fax-copier-scanner). OnSite Amenities: The complex, Park Avenue Condominiums, has several shared facilities available to all guests. They include a heated pool, a recreation building with rental office, saunas, spas, lockers and, a tennis court. Free bus stops are at both entrances and maintenance is free.

Activities:

Winter Events in Park City: Please check out a calendar of winter events. Also, in mid-January, the Sundance Film Festival comes to Park City for about 10-days. Local Ski Areas: Most Utah ski areas open in November and close in mid-April. Locally, Park City Mt. Resort (PCMR) opens by Mid-November for America's Opening & World Cup Skiing. The Canyons try to open by Thanksgiving. Deer Valley usually opens a week later in early December. (View trail maps for PCMR, the Canyons or Deer Valley.) Other Utah Ski / Snowboarding Areas Besides the three World Class ski areas located within only a few miles of the Park City Townhome, don't forget such areas as Snowbird, Alta, Sundance, Brighton & Solitude - all within a 25 to 40 minute drive. Compare and check out these and all Utah ski areas by difficulty, size, snow and other factors. The last area to close is usually Snowbird in May/June. Ski Rentals & Equipment: Excellant ski rental and equipment is available within a block of the condo at Cole Sport (just south of the condos) or Jans Mt Outfitters (across the street from Cole). Also check out other ski equipment in Park City. Ski Excursions: If you're more adventurous and want a special treat, consider some special excursions including the Ski Utah Interconnect Tour (5 areas in 1 day), Park City Powder Cats or helicopter skiing from Diamond Peaks, Beyond Limits and Wasatch Power Guides (near Powder Mt.). Cross Country Skiing: If you'd like an alternative to alpine downhill skiing, compare several cross country Utah ski courses. The White Pine Touring course is directly out the back door of the Park City Townhome. Rental equipment, lessons and course fees can be arranged at the pro-shop located at the first drive on the left (west) north of the Park Ave Condo Entrance; or just ski over. The Wasatch-Cache Nat'l Forest also offers scenic x-country trails. Other Winter Sports: Besides skiing & snowboarding, don't forget other winter activities like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, and, especially for children, snow tubing. At the Utah Sports Park (only a couple miles north) look into heli & cat skiing. Spas / Health & Tennis Clubs: If you just want to take some personal time and relax consider a massage or a day spa in Park City. Also, the Homestead, in Midway has natural warm springs, where you can scuba dive, and a spa. If you want to workout, check out the health clubs, the Park City Racquet Club with indoor & outdoor courts & major health center, and the nearby climbing gym. Utah Winter Sports Park (UWSP): This was the site of the 2002 Winter Olympics for ski jumping, bobsledding and the luge. At UWSP you can take simulated rides in winter and watch training jumps during the summer. Trains: The Heber Creeper, a steam locomotive and train, operates all year long out of Heber City about 20 minutes away. SUMMER Events: There's actually more to do in Park City during the summer than the winter. Check out major summer activities, a calendar for the arts, community and athletics as well as festivals and concerts. The most popular activities and discussed below. Golf: Out the back door of the Park City Townhome is the 18th Fairway of the Park City Golf Course. Review this and four other public courses, and a private club, that are within a 20 minute drive. Also, see a list of all the golf courses in Utah. Fly Fishing: Look at Fly Fishing Utah for information about licensing, the season, limits and places to fish. Park City Fly Fishing is also available and local tours are available at Jan's, Troutfitters and PCFlyShop. Biking: When the snow melts on the slopes, many trails become mountain bike paths. Rentals are available at Cole Sports, a block south of the condo, and Jan's across from Cole. There is also a Mountain Biking School. Competitive biking races are also held at Park City periodically through the summer. Check the calendar for dates. Hiking: Both Park City & Deer Valley have numerous hiking trails. A nearby trail starts a couple of blocks southwest of the townhome across from Temptation Condominiums. The Canyons has a Gondola, open in the summer, that leads to hiking trails, but also to the Mid Mt. Lodge for lunch. Nearby Heber, about 20 minutes southeast, has a variety of many hiking & biking trails. The Uinta & Wasatch-Cache National Forests also have many trails and you can hike to the Timpanogas Cave Monument near Sundance and make reservations - south of Salt Lake City &Heber City. Other Summer Sports: Other summer time activities include caving, hay rides, horse riding, hot air ballooning, jet boats. soaring and concerts.
