Jack's Shacks Description: The Lowell House and the Yellow Slicker are both beautiful properties providing travels with a unique mountain experience.Additional Information: The Lowell HouseOur home is a three bedroom, three and one half bath, stunning and unique house. Located on Lowell, this home is not only charming but situated right in the middle of it all! This home is artfully furnished with historic furniture from the original "JACKS SHACK" miners home of the 1900 era we still own. Many of the cherished pictures of early Park City are from well known local artists and family members. A small barbeque deck is off the living room. Your first impression is that you have stepped back into time yet able to see the present views and future growth in Park City. The beautiful Granite bar invites the gormet cooks to bring delight to the old oak table for 6. Additional bar chairs surround the bar as the family room comes alive. Nothing here but views-overlooking the valley and early morning balloons. The Yellow Slicker Wintertime in Park City's Treasure Mountains offer more than just skiing and sights to see that can't be imagined. The famous Historic District is 1/10th of a mile away but to access the Town Lift for skiing, walk a few yards 'don your skiis and over the bridge you will go to ski the upper hills. The Yellow Slicker complex of 8 units is located at the town lift area. All units are newly updated with tiled floors, fully equiped kitchens, dry sauna, and laundry room. Enjoy a wood burning fire place, queen beds, cable/VCR, welcomes 4-6 guests in comfort. Amenities: The Lowell HouseOur lovely home is beautifully decorated, each room with unique charm and quality. Private bedrooms are queens, and convertible day bed, sleeping for 8. From the king sized hot tub area you can see the town of Park City just 1/10 of a mile away! With a TV/VCR in every room plus one DVD, 2 fireplaces, laundry room, heated garage and driveway, and all that there is to do in Park City, you may have to come again. While strolling through the shops and galleries you will come upon the newly dedicated Olympics plaza. A time for reflection. The Yellow Slicker One of our most unbelievable amenity is simply the area in which we are located. Historic Main Street is where it all is. Art galleries, shopping galore, restaurants for every taste and budget, films festival. Well located to ski-in from Creole Run or walk to town for evening dining or strolling. The Yellow Slicker is where you want to be. Each unit is well appointed with TV/VCR, fireplace, dry sauna, full kitchen, dining, and bar area, and laundry room. Activities: The Lowell House
On Lowell Avenue just 2/5 of a mile away is the Park City Mountain Resort. Also from Lowell Avenue, you can ski down across the town bridge to the town lift 1/10 of a mile away. Other activities in winter are visiting the Quinney Sport's Center, and the Alf Engen Museum. Spectator sports include Freestyle, Alpine downhill races, and Nordic cross country skiing, ski jumping, and bobsled rides can also be viewed at the Olympic Park, just to name a few more outdoor activities.
Gorgoza Park features a lift operated tubing hill, a snowmobile track, tubes, warming hut, all for kids. Also, it has a boarder's learning hill.
