Direct Condo Rental at Winter Park offers a high quality two bedroom condo by owner at discount rates in Beaver Village Condominiums, Winter Park, Colorado and is near the Winter Park Ski Resort.

Additional Information:

Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom 2 full bath condo at Beaver Village Condominiums in Winter Park Colorado. This complex has the closest in-town condominiums to Winter Park Resort: 1.6 miles from the ski slopes and 6 minutes away with a Free Shuttle Bus. Our condo is one of the few at Beavers that has a south facing private deck and a great view of the ski slopes and continental divide from your deck and living room.

Since 1988 we have been offering quality vacation rentals by owner in Winter Park at direct discount rates, 25% to 35% below retail prices. We live nearby in Boulder, maintain our condo as our own, and visit there often. Our condo has been very popular for both summer and winter vacations, and over the years we have become great friends with our many return guests.

Our Beaver Village condo is about 1000 square feet and sleeps up to six individuals.

Sleeping Arrangements are as follows:

Master Bedroom...Queen size Bed
Second Bedroom...Two Twin Beds
Living room...Queen Size Sofa-Sleeper

Hi! We are the Ekin's - Sharon and Jack. In 1973, we moved to Boulder, Colorado where Jack has worked as a research scientist for the National Institute of Standards and Technology for 28 years. Sharon was busy with our two young daughters and then later worked for the University of Colorado as an accountant for the Chemical Engineering Department.

Why did we choose Winter Park? With our daughters, Lindy and Lisa, we traveled throughout the state of Colorado. Winter Park soon became our favorite area to ski, camp, hike, mountain bike and go boating. For winter activities, we love the varied terrain and the friendly services of the Winter Park Ski Resort. For summer activities we enjoy golfing at Pole Creek Golf Course, hiking and the proximity of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Reservoir. In 1988 we decided to get a condo getaway in Winter Park and to share its use with others. Our condo is unique in that it is in one of the only two buildings at Beaver Village Condominiums where you have a great view of the ski area and Continental Divide right from your living room and private deck.

It is our goal to provide high quality accommodations at prices that are up to 30 percent below retail rates. Over the years, we have enjoyed getting to know many of our guests and have had a high guest return rate. Thank you for your interest in our condo.

Amenities:

Our condo includes the following furnishings and/or features:

-Great views of the ski area and continental divide from your living room and private deck.
-Free shuttle bus that picks you up in front of your condo and takes you to the ski area in only about six minutes.
-Indoor swimming pool (in clubhouse), three hot tubs and sauna. There are locker rooms, showers and free towels at the clubhouse.
-Each bedroom has a full size private bath - if there are two couples, each couple has their own private bath.
-New color cable TV, VCR and CD player in the living room. TV in master bedroom.
-Automatic gas fireplace.
-Recently installed new carpet
-All towels and linens provided and beds are made before you arrive.
-Fully furnished kitchen, automatic coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, standard size range/oven, new dishwasher, refrigerator (18 cu ft), and microwave.
-Telephone and all local calls are free - bring a credit card for long distance
-Ski Storage racks
-Quiet deck on the back with outdoor furniture for reading and relaxation.

Activities:

In summer, the number of things you can do is almost limitless. Mountain biking has become one of the most popular activities in the Rockies. There are literally hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails. Winter Park Resort boasts the world's largest mountain slide, climbing wall, miniature golf, human maze, chair- lift rides, a mountain top restaurant, great family restaurants, shops, T-shirt shops, galleries, etc. Rocky Mountain National Park is only 35 miles from Winter Park and the drive there takes you through breathtaking scenery next to clear mountain lakes. Well-trained rangers and naturalists lead informative and fun hikes where you may see moose, elk, fox, coyote, bear, marmots or rocky mountain sheep. Shadow Mountain Lake, Lake Granby or Grand Lake offer swimming, fly fishing, and boating . Hot Sulphur Springs Pools in nearby Hot Sulphur Springs is a great place to soak and relax. Perhaps you would like a massage. Or, you can sit on your back deck and enjoy the a variety of humingbirds, blue jays, Chicarees (like a squirrel but you will know when they are around - they talk loud).
