Eagle Street Bed and Breakfast Description: The Eagle Street Bed and Breakfast is located on the banks of the Eagle River in the heart of historic Minturn only five miles from both Vail and Beaver Creek. It is a timber frame home constructed in 1998 with the guest in mind. Each of the four meticulously furnished guestrooms features a large river rock fireplace, jacuzzi tub, wetbar, TV, and direct line phone. Additional Information: The rooms have antique cast iron queen beds adorned with fine Egyptian cotton linens and down comforters. The exposed pine beams of the timber frame and extensive rockwork accent the rooms with a Colorado mountain feel. The best assets to the rooms are the private decks overlooking the Eagle River - the views are fantastic. Across the river is the back side of Vail Mountain, part of the White River National Forest, and wintering grounds for two elk herds. Imagine being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the river in front of a roaring fire after a relaxing jacuzzi tub.Eagle River Suite A two room suite with a bedroom, sitting room, and kitchen, it is a ground level unit only thirty feet from the riverís bank. The bath has a large jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The bedroom has a queen size antique cast iron bed with fine linens, a small sitting area and a sliding glass door opening onto a grass patio. The sitting room features a large river rock fireplace and a sliding glass door leading out to the river. There is a television and direct line phone. Lionshead This top-level room has a vaulted ceiling, an antler chandelier, and impressive timber frame work. The primary feature of this room is a floor to ceiling river rock fireplace. The bed is queen size and is adorned with fine linens made from Egyptian cotton and a down comforter. The bath has a jacuzzi tub embedded in river rock, a separate shower, and a pedestal sink. There is also a television, direct line phone, and a wet bar. Two Elk Creek The Two Elk Creek room is a first floor room and the largest of the guestrooms. The room features a large river rock fireplace and a deck offering exceptional views of the Eagle River. The queen cast iron bed has fine Egyptian cotton linens and a down comforter. The bath has a jacuzzi tub, separate shower with hand-painted tiles of Colorado wildflowers, and a pedestal sink. The timberframe construction is visible and the pine beams add a rustic quality to the room. There is also a television, direct line phone, and a wet bar. Booco Station Named after Minturn's original homesteader, John Booco, this ground level room has a patio that walks out onto the Eagle River. The oversized bathroom has a jacuzzi tub embedded in stone, separate shower with hand-painted tiles of Colorado wildflowers, and an antique pedestal sink. At the foot of the cast iron queen bed there is a river rock fireplace. The room is equipped with a television, direct line phone, and wet bar. |
