Alpine Retreat Description: ) An alpine retreat popular with skiers and golfers, in both winter and summer. Our spacious 2,800 square ft., three bedroom luxury townhome in Vail, Colorado, is conveniently located on the Vail Golf Course and only a few minutes to the slopes and town. Additional Information: Our vacation home is fully furnished and tastefully decorated in a Southwestern motif, with authentic Native American artifacts. What views! Vistas of the spectacular Gore Range, and from the backyard patio, hike or snowshoe through the serene pine and aspen groves of the White River Forest land that borders our home.A four minute drive or free Town of Vail bus ride (from our condo complex entrance) to the base of Golden Peak at Vail Mountain, will deliver you to your own underground private parking space at Vail's newest base lodge and steps away from the Riva Bahn high speed quad lift, the fastest way to the top of Vail Mountain. Use of our Passport Club covered free parking is included in our winter rentals! The Golden Peak Base Lodge boasts a quality regional American Brassiere of fine dining, bakery, deli, pizza pub, as well as home of the Vail Ski School (including the Children's Center) and full service rental and ski -tuning shops. Stay on the bus one more minute, take a short walk, or ski over from Golden Peak to reach the core of Vail Village, if you prefer to start your day at the Vista Bahn. (We doubt you will though, once you realize the ride up to the top is faster from Golden Peak!) People prefer to start at Golden Peak because the Vista Bahn (At Vail Village) can be crowded at peak times. Amenities: Features:Private covered parking space at base of Golden Peak on Vail Mountain. 3 bedrooms (Master & 2nd bed. = king size beds; 3rd bed. = twin beds; living rm. =queen sofa sleeper). 3 baths. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Dining room with patio door adjacent. Outdoor gas bar-b-que grill. Extra large size washer/dryer and supplies in separate room off kitchen. Outdoor pool and picnic table for summer use. Heated two-car garage with ski racks, boot benches and boot/glove dryers. Spacious Layout – 3 level townhome. Sunken living room with fireplace, large windows, and a balcony. Comfortably sleeps 6 (8 max) people. Beautiful new rock exterior. Wet bar. Cable TV in each room. Family room has VCR/Stereo. Fax and answering machine. Winter: walk to Nordic Center, ice-skating rink, cross country and snowshoe trails. Rental equipment available. Summer: walk to golf course clubhouse and swimming pool. Easily accessible to hiking and biking paths just beyond. 3 mountain bicycles are available for your use. Secluded flagstone patio with mountain views backing up to unspoiled White River Forest land. Hike or snowshoe from your back door, or use our hiking book to find some of our favorite hikes, which are only a short drive away. Relax in front of the cozy moss rock fireplace after a day on the slopes, and enjoy beautiful views from every room. Clean and even-heating hot water heat system with individual comfort zones for every room. |
