The New Sheridan Hotel Description: The historic New Sheridan Hotel offers three distinct room styles, each featuring elegant Victorian décor and period furniture. Remarkable photographs depicting Telluride at the turn of the century adorn the walls of each room, enhancing the Hotel’s overall charm and ambiance. Additional Information: Alpine Room Our most popular rooms, which offer one queen or king-size bed. Many of the Alpine rooms include spa tubs and offer unsurpassed mountain views from the bedroom windows. Ridge Suite Our most spacious rooms in the historic hotel. Ridge Suites are one-bedroom suites with a queen or king-size bed, and an additional parlor with either one twin daybed or a pullout sofa. The Ridge Suites can comfortably accommodate families of up to three adults or two adults and two children. Aspen Room For travelers who prefer the tradition of European-style accommodations, the Aspen Rooms, with shared bathrooms, are an appealing option. These quaint rooms are coined “the best value in Telluride”. They offer one queen-size bed and all of the amenities of our other rooms, with the exception of a private bathroom. Four Aspen rooms on a floor share separate men and women's European-style bathrooms, each with multiple sinks and showers. Colorado Suite Located in a separate Main Street building, a short two-block walk from the hotel, the Colorado Suites are ideal for larger parties or families. Decorated in a contemporary western style, these lovely apartment-style units feature two bedrooms, each with one queen-size bed. These suites also include a small living room, full kitchen and one bathroom. Guests at our Colorado Suites also enjoy all of the amenities of the hotel. Soak in the rooftop hot tubs, enjoy our complimentary gourmet breakfast, or partake in the other various amenities found at the New Sheridan Hotel. The New Sheridan Hotel is located at 231 West Colorado Avenue (Main Street) in Telluride, Colorado. Just follow the only road into town, look for the clock tower, and we are the next building to the east. With expanded national and international flights, getting to Telluride is now easier than ever. America West Airlines (out of Phoenix, AZ) and Great Lakes Airlines (out of Denver, CO) offer flights into Telluride Regional Airport daily. Situated at 9,078 feet, right in the middle of the San Juan Mountains, the Telluride Regional Airport is the highest commercial airport in the United States. The 14,000-foot peaks as well as the stretching plains of the Deep Creek Mesa provide awe inspiring views during take-off and landing. Montrose, located just 64 miles from Telluride, provides direct flights from major cities including: Denver, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago and Newark. United Express and America West offer year round flights into Montrose, while Continental and American provide seasonal service from December 15th through April 5th.
