Alpine Rose Bed & Breakfast of Steamboat Springs Colorado offers an intimate alternative to hotels, motels, condos, condominiums, and other resort lodging options.

Additional Information:

Located in historic "Olde Town" Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the Alpine Rose offers the hospitality of a family Bed and Breakfast and all the comforts and conveniences that make for a special and unique mountain vacation.

This elegant three story contemporary home is within walking distance (8 blocks) of downtown with it's excellent dining, shopping and hot springs pool and two miles from a world class ski resort. Elegantly decorated in warm, soft tones, the comfortable living room upstairs and the cozy "hearth room" downstairs offer two separate congenial areas in which guests can relax and mingle or watch digital and cable TV.

The five guest rooms are located on the bottom and main floors and are each unique in their decor. The B & B itself offers such amenities as fireplaces, telephones, fax, email and copy services, ceiling fans, and snuggly robes in each closet.

The house features a redwood deck with gorgeous mountain views and a relaxing Hot Tub overlooking the Strawberry Park and the star-studded Colorado night sky.

A gourmet breakfast is served in our sunny Dining Room between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:30 am where you feast on homemade breads, granola, fresh fruit and other delicious specialties of the house. Your hosts will pamper your every need with a touch of class and friendly, home-style service that will make your stay relaxing, fun and unforgettable.

King Room:
This room is a favorite for the romantic couple as it sports a luxurious King Size Bed and offers an attractive Private Bath for greater privacy. Guests will find robes for their convenience in the spacious closet as well as plenty of dresser space to accommodate. Two double windows in the room offer excellent cross ventilation for deep breathing of fresh mountain air.

Queen Room 1:
Downstairs off our cozy Common Room, couples will love this warmly decorated room with original art on the wall and lots of closet and dresser space. A comfortable Queen Size Bed from which the ski mountain can be seen from the window. Shared bath with Queen Room 2.

Queen Room 2:
Also downstairs off the tastefully decorated Common Room. We call this bedroom the "goddess room" because of its floral theme and the painting of ladies lounging on a balcony, giving this room a feeling of quiet repose as you enter your own private sanctuary. Shares a bath with Queen Room 1.

The Family Suite:
The family suite is two adjoining rooms with private bath across the hall and a Queen Sleigh style bed in one room with Bunk style (full on bottom, twin on top) bed in the adjoining room. Rooms are separated by a privacy curtain. Nice and light, spacious and airy with a bay window in one room and two large windows in the bedroom with the queen bed on garden side of the house.

The Efficiency Apartment:
This is our most private accommodations for it is an entire apartment complete with full kitchen and private bath (with jacuzzi tub)! The room has the ability to sleep up to 6 people with a pull down Murphy Queen Bed, a trundle Day Bed for two Twin Beds and a Rollaway Couch with a 6" mattress for the comfort of any sofa sleepers. A fireplace, TV and loveseat as well as a dresser and closet complete this large and comfortable apartment. This room is a favorite for couples on honeymoon or the longer term guests who enjoy the additional advantage of being able to cook some of their own meals while relaxing in the comfort of their own private space. This room has a private entrance through the garage and is wheelchair accessible.

-The Alpine Rose B & B is a nonsmoking establishment and does not take pets. We welcome families but reserve the right to refuse children under the age of six.
-Some discounts for weekday stays may apply as well as discounted rates for longer term visits.
-We also have email and fax machine services for our costumers.
