Our lovely, yet affordable, townhome in Steamboat Springs Colorado is a wonderful place to vacation in luxury while in Steamboat Springs. It is the perfect place for family gatherings and ski trips, close to the mountain and downtown Steamboat Springs. It is light and airy, with lots of windows and a high vaulted ceiling. It is beautifully and comfortably decorated, and there is plenty of space for your family and friends, with almost 2,800 square feet on three levels. It offers the best of Steamboat Springs lodging accomodations at great discounted prices.

The kids can have a floor to themselves! Grown-up kids can party in privacy. Cruise down through the 12 " of champagne powder surrounded by pristine snow laden pine trees. Hammer the moguls and explore the snow board park. Enjoy a glass of wine in front of the cozy fireplace after a great powder day of skiing. Have a long soak in our private hot tub on the deck, or take advantage of the phenomenal complex hot tub (one of two in the Cascades complex) just across the street. For your convenience, you can utilize the free, private shuttle to the Steamboat Springs ski resort or the downtown area of Steamboat Springs that will pick you up at your doorstep. Steamboat Springs offers some of the best powder and tree skiing in the country and has a phenomenal ski school program for kids and adults. There are lots of other activities in Steamboat Springs, all year round, such as a natural hot springs, snow mobiling, ballooning, fine dining, horse back riding, mountain biking, golf, all in a beautiful mountain setting. Our beautiful Steamboat Springs townhome has a great layout, particularly if you have children*. It is an end unit in a building with four units. It is a townhouse, so there is no one above or below you.

Our Steamboat Springs townhome has three levels:

Main level:
-Great room (living room, dining room, open to kitchen) with cathedral ceiling
-Fully equipped kitchen with eating bar that seats three
-Master suite (walk-in closet, 2 sinks, jetted tub) with queen bed
-Extra half bathroom
-Mud room with access to attached two-car garage
-Deck accessible from the great room or the master suite
Upstairs:
-Two bedrooms, one with queen, one with 2 twins that convert to a king
-Full bathroom
Downstairs:
-Large family room with TV/VCR/DVD
-Two bedrooms, one with two twin beds, one with four bunkbeds
-Full bathroom
-Laundry room

*The floors are well insulated, so sound does not travel very well. If you have children, they can be downstairs, while you remain peacefully in the great room.

DIRECTIONS
From Denver:

To get to Steamboat Springs, Take I-70 west out of Denver, through the Eisenhower Tunnel (about an hour west of Denver). Take the first exit after the tunnel, which is the Dillon/Silverthorne exit. Turn right off the exit onto Route 9. Take Route 9 to Kremmling, where Route 9 ends (about an hour). Turn left onto US 40. Take US 40 west over Rabbit Ears Pass and down into Steamboat Springs, Colorado (about 45 minutes). At the first traffic light (by the Comfort Inn), turn right onto Walton Creek Road. Take the first left onto Eagle Ridge Road, and then an immediate right onto Cascades Drive. Take another immediate right into our driveway, and our unit is the leftmost vacation rental unit. The charming town of Steamboat Springs is just a few minutes further down US 40. The Steamboat Springs Ski Resort is just three blocks away.

From Hayden airport:

Take US 40 east into and through Steamboat Springs. At the first traffic light after the Mt. Werner Road exit (by the Comfort Inn), turn left onto Walton Creek Road. Take the first left onto Eagle Ridge Road, and then an immediate right onto Cascades Drive. Take another immediate right into our driveway, and our Steamboat Springs vacation rental unit is the leftmost one.

Our beautiful townhome has a great layout, particularly if you have children. Children are welcome. No smoking. No pets. We apologize, but this unit is not handicap accessible.

Our townhome has the following amenities:

-Private hot tub on the deck (available during ski season only)
-Terrific hot tub in the complex (across the street)
-Gas fireplace in the great room
-Cable TV in the master bedroom and the family room
-VCR in the master bedroom and the family room
-DVD with MP3/CD player and photo viewer in the family room
-Stereo in the great room
-Gas barbecue grill on the deck
-Washer and dryer in the unit

Fully equipped kitchen:
-electric range and oven
-dishwasher
-microwave
-disposal

Private shuttle to the mountain or around town.
In addition, it is located across the street from the free town bus.

Activities:

Our townhome is in the Cascades at Eagle Ridge complex on Cascades Drive. This is one of the nicest upscale complexes in Steamboat. There are 24 townhouses in the complex (six buildings with four townhouses in each building), many of which are owner occupied year-round. We are located an eight- to twelve-minute walk from the base of the gondola, depending on how fast you walk. There is a concrete path (plowed in the winter) that runs along a creek from the Cascades complex up to the base of the mountain. However, we have a private shuttle that runs all winter for your convenience. It runs every five minutes or so during the morning and afternoon, and it is available on call at other times. It takes about three to four minutes to drive to the base of the gondola. If you are looking at a map of Steamboat Springs, our townhome is located eastof US 40 (S. Lincoln Ave.) and south (downhill) of the base of the gondola.
