Colorado Dude Ranch Description: A Colorado Dude Ranch - The Home Ranch offers Steamboat Springs lodging and luxury mountain accommodations with horseback riding and skiing packages for your family vacation in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. A Relais and Chateaux Accommodation.Additional Information: You can choose from eight private cabins and six rooms in the main lodge. Our cabins vary in size from a one bedroom studio to a three bedroom, three bath, "Home on the Ranch." Whether cabin or lodge room, all are individually appointed with antiques, Indian rugs, cozy down comforters, wood-burning stoves, coffee pots, and some with lofts perfect for the kids. Each cabin has its own front porch and a hot tub to work out the kinks from a long day on your skis. Our lodge guests can enjoy the spa hot tub and sauna. To make you feel even more at home, you will find a small refrigerator stocked with coffee, crackers and cheese for an afternoon snack (if you haven't already filled up on the chocolate chip cookies in the bottomless cookie jar). In the bathrooms, we put hair dryers and there are terry cloth robes in the closet.Note: The main lodge and the lodge are smoke free. Absolutely no pets. We ask that you respect others and refrain from using cellular phones in public areas. The Home Ranch is happy to once again offer our all-inclusive winter packages, just in time for our 25th anniversary year. Winter 2004 Rates include: ~Lodging, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner~ ~Cross Country Ski/Snowshoe equipment~ ~Cross Country Guides~ ~Sleigh Ride~ ~Daily Downhill Ski Shuttle to and from Steamboat~ ~Age limit 6 and up (except for the holidays!)~ ~2-night minimum stay~ Activities: A visit to Home Ranch is a visit to a unique part of Colorado. The Steamboat Springs area and North Routt County have a rich history of mining , ranching and of course, skiing. If you drive north of the ranch you will find the quaint mining town of Hahn's Peak Village. Besides boasting incredible views and many historical buildings, Hahn's Peak is the home of Steamboat Lake State Park.
South of the ranch is the town of Steamboat Springs. Steamboat is called "Ski-Town USA," a well-deserved moniker. No matter what season, Steamboat buzzes with activity: festivals, shopping, skiing, watersports and more.
