Bear Creek Vacation Rental Description: This beautifully decorated, non-smoking, newly built 2000+sq foot luxury townhome has large windows, which make the unit open and bright. You can see to the top of Mt. Werner from the living room windows. Watch the skiers in the winter, the hot air balloons year-round, and enjoy the changing colors of the aspens in the fall. Each large master suite has its own full bathroom - complete with Jacuzzi jetted tub. Additional Information: When the evening arrives, you can stay home and throw a few steaks on the grill or venture out to enjoy the wide variety of over 70 bars and restaurants (casual to fine-dining). Several night clubs offer live music and dancing, and a comedy club keeps the fun on tap! Before bed, you can relax in your own quiet retreat and slip into the private hot tub to count the multitudes of stars. Annual events include the Strings in the Mountains concerts, Rainbow Weekend (a hot air balloon rodeo), the Marathon, Cowboy Roundup Days, Side-Walk Sale Days, the Fall Foliage Festival, Steamboat Mountain Brewfest, the Winter Carnival, the SnowBall, the St. Patrick's Day Torchlight Parade, and the Cardboard Classic. Steamboat Springs is 157 miles northwest of Denver and is easily accessible by car or by plane. During ski season, non-stop jet flights (up to Boeing 757 size ), and are available from major cities nationwide, with connections from over 150 other cities. Amenities: Amenities include three outside decks, a private hot tub off the main deck, heated garage and ski/boot/board storage, gas fireplace, and a natural gas barbecue grill outside. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living and dining areas. A full size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron is included in the unit. For your entertainment, a TV has been placed in each bedroom and a large TV is in the living room, with VHS/DVD/CD players, Cable TV and stereo. For those who have business to attend to, the loft is set up for your convenience with a desk, phone, printer, and fax machine. Bear Creek is located only 100 yards to the free city bus (winter), and less than a mile to the base of the mountain for skiing. Activities: Winter activities include skiing at a world class resort, snow-boarding, tubing, ice-skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, elk feeding, dog sledding, ice fishing, ice climbing, powder cat skiing, snowmobiling and sleigh rides.
Enjoy a soak at Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs (swim suits optional at night) or improving your ice-driving skills at the Bridgestone Winter Driving School. Don't forget the unique shopping!
