Woods Inn a Hotel in Frisco Colorado Description: A cozy mountain retreat, the Woods Inn offers a central location to the most beautiful natural attractions in Colorado. Our rooms are diverse in their set-up and decorated with personal items the owners have collected throughout the world. We offer everything from an intimate single bedroom with a king-sized bed to a two- bedroom, full Kitchen unit with a loft that can comfortably sleep 12-14 people. Additional Information: Built in 1994, the Suites offer modern, spacious rooms. Our suites have been constructed with vacationer privacy and convenience in mind. Our smallest rooms have a TV and private phone and may sleep up to 2 to 4 people. Our largest has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with a loft and 3 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 14 people. All guests have access to all the amenities of the Inn, including the hot tub. These rooms also have a TV, hair dryers, private phone and private bathrooms.Amenities: Our location is ideal for experiencing the wonders of the Rockies. We are situated between five world-class ski slopes; Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, and Vail.In addition to fabulous cross-country skiing here in Frisco, here are numerous other winter activities close by: dog sledding, snowmobiling, and horse-back riding, just to name a few. Summer offers beautiful days and cool nights. There are hiking and biking trails minutes from our front door and a lake for sailing and boating. Starting at 8:00am everyday we serve a made to order breakfast that's all-you-can-eat for just $5 per-person. Our menu includes eggs - any style, blueberry pancakes, french toast, bacon and sausage. When the weather is Beautiful the brick terrace becomes the gathering place for many of our guests. Some guests decide to do their own cooking with our BBQ grill. We also boast a beautiful out-door hot tub to sooth away your worries. The hot tub is open 24 hours for our Guests' convenience. Cozy up next to the roaring fire in our comfortable fire place room. Relax with your favorite book, or surf the web on our community computer. We have partnered with the luxurious Alpine Club at Copper Mountain. Come enjoy heated lockers and a relaxing ski lounge right on the mountain for just $15 per day. Activities: WINTER ACTIVITIES
Enjoy panoramic views of the Swan River Valley in the Arapahoe National Forest on the back of a snowmobile. Good Times Adventures accomadates everyone from thrill-seekers to large families.
The only ski resort in the area that offers night skiing, Keystone has 13 runs open and illuminated after dark. You can enjoy the night life and still get in plenty of skiing.
Dog sledding is a great way to spend part of an off day from skiing. Good Times Adventures has experienced guides that will educate you about the dogs and trails through breckenridge
In the heart of a Victorian town, Breckenridge boasts a high speed quad chain on each of its three mountains. Breck is only 9 miles from our front door.
The Frisco Nordic Center has winding wooded trails for cross-county skiing and snow-shoeing. The trail system is single track with a little climbing. Trails traverse the beautiful Peninsula of Lake Dillon.
Only 6 miles west, Copper Mountain is one of the most popular ski areas in the country. 80% beginner and intermediate slopes means more fun for more people.
Climb aboard a oak sleigh and nestle yourself under an antique lap robe. Vistas of grand mountain peaks await you at every turn along the relaxing ride. Two Below Zero offers sleigh ride throughout the county.
Arapahoe Basin is high on the Continental Divide; "The Legend" as it is known has the longest ski season in Colorado. Opening in early November and closing in Late June.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES
Public transportation in Summit County is provided for free by the Summit Stage. Bus service is available to most ski areas, shopping centers, medical centers, and residential areas in Summit County.
A bike path from Breckenridge to Vail covers about 40 miles. The combination of terrain and natural beauty makes this an adventure not to be missed.
