Sunnyside Knoll Resort Description: Sunnyside Knoll Resort features many units with in-room Jacuzzi tubs for two which are situated so you can enjoy the fireplace, TV or a movie while relaxing in your private hot tub. Our contemporary cottages, cabins and rooms are individually decorated. Each unit has a fireplace, CTV with VCR and many offer fully equipped kitchens for true home away from home convenience.Additional Information: Our contemporary units have been designed and individually decorated for couples who want a romantic setting with one special extra touch...privacy. To insure your private stay, we do not allow children, groups, nor family reunions. Also, pets are not allowed on the property. Since we cater especially to couples, we reserve our property for the exclusive enjoyment of our guests. We accomplish this with our "No Visitor" policy. Our guests are expected to meet family and friends elsewhere in town. Our 15 unit property is located two miles west of downtown Estes Park and two miles east of Rocky Mountain National Park. Abundant with wildlife, we are located in the scenic Fall River Valley, nestled among pine, aspens, and huge rock formations. • A romantic mountain getaway featuring privacy for couples. • A blend of mountain charm on the outside, with the expectations of the 21st century on the inside. • Private Hot Tubs & Spas for Two! • Cottages, cabins, motel and suites • Open year around • All of our units and facilities are smoke-free. • Distinctively unique. Sunnyside Knoll is designed for a minimum number of guests so you can truly enjoy a private environment. All our units are individually decorated with little extras for that special at home feeling. Unit 15 and Unit 16 Contemporary duplex cabin with our largest self-contained hot tub situated in the living room in front of the moss rock fireplace, CTV, VCR and living room furniture. Step from the living room up four steps to the second level. On this level is the bedroom with king bed, CTV, VCR, and large bay window overlooking huge rock formations. Also on this level is the bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Kitchen is complete with all the basics in cookware, dinnerware, appliances and microwave, too. Deck has porch swing. Unit 7 Contemporary single cottage, containing our largest self-contained hot tub situated in the living room, underneath a skylight, and in front of the moss rock gas fireplace, CTV, VCR, stereo system with CD player, and living room furniture. Bedroom has king bed, CTV, VCR, sitting area and wall of windows overlooking huge rock formations. Bathroom has double shower with European rain bar. Fully equipped kitchen is complete with all the basics in cookware, dinnerware, appliances, plus dishwasher and microwave. Private deck has gas grill and patio furniture. ONE BEDROOM HOUSEKEEPING CABINS (Units 8 & 9) Contemporary duplex cabin features moss rock fireplace, CTV and VCR in the living room. On the second level is a separate bedroom with queen bed and bay window, bathroom with standard tub/shower combination, and kitchenette with all the basics in cookware, dinnerware, small appliances, refrigerator, microwave, and four burner cook top. SPA UNITS (No. 10-11-12-14) Contemporary duplex cabins with in-room private spa tubs for two, accented with smoked glass mirrors and chandeliers. These L-shaped units are like master bedrooms with sitting area across from the fireplace, CTV, VCR and queen bed. Enjoy the gas fireplace, TV or a movie while soaking side by side in your spa. These non-cooking units have small refrigerators and coffeemakers; no kitchen facilities. STANDARD ROOMS (Units 1-2-3-4) Contemporary motel-style rooms with sitting area across from fireplace, CTV, VCR, king bed, and one person jetted tub/shower in bathroom. OUTDOOR PRIVATE HOT TUB CABIN (Unit 17) This contemporary one or two bedroom individual cabin, decorated in Southwest mission style decor, features vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, and CTV with VCR in the living room. A fully equipped kitchen includes all the basics in cookware, dinnerware, and appliances, including dishwasher and microwave. One bedroom has king bed and CTV with VCR. The second bedroom has queen bed. There are 1 1/2 baths; the full bathroom has tub /shower combination. Just off the deck at the back door of the cabin is the private outdoor hot tub near large rock formations. Amenities: All Non-Smoking units & facilitiesOutdoor Hot Tubs In-room Hot Tubs and Spas Outdoor Heated Pool Recreation Room Kitchens, Fireplaces, Ceiling Fans Color Cable TV and VCR Free Video Library Outdoor Hot Tubs situated near huge rock formations, romantic with subdued outdoor lighting, and heated changing room that promotes year-round, comfortable use. Outdoor Heated Pool open Memorial weekend through mid-September (weather permitting). Pool is maintained at 88 degrees for comfort even in the cool mountain evenings. Recreation Room features pool table, fireplace, exercise equipment, conversation areas in a comfortable southwest decor. Courtesy phone for free local calls and modem hookup for laptops. Outdoor gas and charcoal grills, and picnic areas. |
