The Appenzell Inn Description: The Appenzell Inn of Estes Park Colorado features new condo suites that exceed your hotel or motel lodging needs and is located near Rocky Mountain National Park.Additional Information: The Appenzell Inn is a Swiss inspired year-round resort property of luxury one-bedroom and studio suites plus an indoor heated swimming pool. Our suites have been specifically designed with the highest level of quality and amenities, from designer comforters on king beds to brass faucets on the jetted tubs. The Appenzell Inn is also a totally smoke-free property! From The Appenzell, you'll experience the beauty of the surrounding village and the grandeur of the not-so-distant mountain peaks. There is plenty to do in the Estes Park area and the experienced friendly staff at The Appenzell, can help you plan your activities and make recommendations. A paved, hike-bike walkway runs past The Appenzell, and a half-mile walk will bring you to the Lake Estes Trail, Horse Rentals, 9-Hole Golf, Restaurants, shops and Fitness Center. A bit further brings you to the Downtown Riverwalk, with all of its great shops and restaurants. We're just a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Parks 18-Hole Golf Course, McGregor Ranch Museum and numerous trailheads for some of the finest mountain hiking to be found anywhere. The Property Buildings and Grounds A Swiss mountain inn is the inspiration for The Appenzell Inn. Soft green and off-white stucco, natural cedar and flower boxes highlight the exterior. Warm white and yellow walls with natural pine trim, tiled and berber carpeted floors, designer fabrics and bed covers, plus unique artwork make our suite interiors feel special. The grounds have many large trees, a gentle slope and a creek running through. The property is surrounded by cedar fence for privacy and to protect the extensive landscaping and flowers from the herds of elk and deer in the area. There is plenty of parking, with half of the spaces covered to protect your car from our mostly sunny days. The Buildings The Alpenhaus: Interior stairs access the first and second floors from ground level. Ground Level - Office and Patio Suite First Floor - The Alpine Suite Second Floor - Original Suite-Heart Loft 1-BR The Berghaus: Two stories above covered parking with interior stairs and elevator. Ground Floor - Main Entrance, Reception Lounge, Guest Laundry First Floor - Grindel and Eiger on Courtyard Terrace, Cozys on Patio Second Floor - Chalet Suites and Suite-Heart Loft Studio The Suites Our 28 air-conditioned suites are designed and detailed for comfort, practicality and romantic ambiance from the varied bedcovers, artwork and decorator trims to the interiors of natural pine. Chalet Suite An exceptional 1 to 2 bedroom suite on the top floor of the Berghaus. From the spacious living room a vault ceiling peaks at the large bay window overlooking the courtyard terrace below, the snow- covered mountains beyond. A fully equipped kitchenette and built-in bench with table and chairs for dining, queen sofa sleeper in LR. A luxury bath complete with oversized jetted tub for two.1 BR sleeps 4 (616 sf), 2 BR sleeps 6 (772 sf) Eiger Suite This extra-roomy 1 bedroom suite has a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area and a spacious bath with oversized jetted tub. Enter the living room of this mountain view suite from the courtyard terrace. Living room has Q sofa sleeper. First Floor Berghaus Sleeps 4 to 5 (672 sf) The Patio Walk in from a private patio with gas grill. The studio has plenty of window light, a fully equipped kitchenette and mid-sized jetted tub. King bed and Q sofa sleeper. Patio level Alpenhaus. Sleeps up to 4 (412 sf) The Garten Cozy Everything needed for a quick getaway for two. This unique and intimate studio design combines all the essentials: king bed, fireplace, sofa and in-room two-person jetted tub with shower. Even the smaller details have been remembered: a mini-fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Neat and cozy. On the Patio First Floor Berghaus. Sleeps 2 (261 sf) Suite-Heart Loft, One bedroom The original Suite Heart Loft with vault ceilings throughout, offers a romantic and cozy living room with its special heartshape tub looking over to the fireplace. A warm and spacious design with separate king bedroom; a custom built natural pine entertainment armoire. Sundeck with gas grill and a private balcony; living room sofa sleeper. Top floor of the Alpenhaus. Sleeps 3 (446 sf) Suite-Heart Loft Studio The romance-inspired Suite-Heart Loft Studio brings together all the desired features, uniquely designed and detailed into one spectacular room. A vaulted peak ceiling frames the large bay window giving a panoramic view of the rocky mountains and the courtyard terrace below. From the sitting area, king bed or you heartshape tub, the view of snow-capped mountains will delight. Top floor of the Berghaus. Sleeps 2 (460 sf) Alpine Suite A bright one-bedroom suite with fully equipped kitchenette, a bay window dining area, sundeck and private balcony. Plenty of window light in living room with queen sofa sleeper. A spacious bath and elegant oversized jetted tub. Alpenhaus First Floor. Sleeps 4 (526 sf) Grindel Suite Enter through the French doors of this spacious studio suite to a warm and inviting sitting area. To your right is a fully equipped kitchenette with convenient eat-on bar with stools. This beautifully detailed mountain-view suite is complete with in-room two-person jetted tub, separate shower in the bath and a fireplace view from any vantagepoint. With king bed privacy curtain and sofasleeper, it can be perfect for vacation or any special occasion. on the Courtyard Terrace, First Floor of the Berghaus. Sleeps 3 (451 sf) Amenities: The suites are equipped with the following: Fireplace King bed Two-person jetted tub Hairdryer Inroom phone Sofa sleeper Color cable TV/VCR Air conditioning All suites, except Cozy, have fully equipped Kitchenettes: Refrigerator Sink Dishwasher Microwave oven Electric frying pan, toaster, blender and coffeemaker Dishes, stemware and all utensils Gas grill is not far from the door Activities: The Appenzell Inn is just east of downtown Estes Park, in an area known for the magnificent views of the snow covered peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park. Deer and elk are regular visitors, yet downtown shopping is but a scenic walk away.
Golf, hiking, biking, fishing, boating, horse-back riding and a state of the art health club are all within walking distance on the towns extensive trail system. Rocky Mountain National Park is a beautiful five to ten minute drive North, South, or West.
