Columbine Cottage - Crested Butte Description: A turn of the century mining cabin, extensively renovated,
two blocks from the center of town and historical district and one block from free shuttle bus to ski area.
Additional Information: The living room, kitchen, and sun room have hardwood floors and the home is filled with antiques. There is cable TV, a VCR and a stereo with CD player for your enjoyment. This home is available year-round. The couch in the living room is a queen sized sleeper sofa just in case you want to sleep two more people. This house is a classic example of a "turn of the century" mining cabin remodeled into a comfortable home.
The sunny, country kitchen has an eating area in the bay window and is fully equipped with all the modern appliances and cookware. There is a washer and dryer in the pantry off the kitchen and a mud room for all your coats, boots and skis. The bay window looks out on the attractive back yard that is filled with flowers in the summer months. There are even a few historic out-buildings and an out-house to add character.
The master bedroom has its own bath and a large walk-in closet. Vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan and green plants make this room
an attractive place on the second floor to "get away from it all".
Downstairs, one bedroom has two twin beds and the other bedroom has a full size bed. The mattresses are firm and the bedrooms are inviting and cozy. The bedrooms and baths are fully furnished with linens. The home sleeps six, plus there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
