The CliffHouse Description: The historic Cliff House at Pikes Peak in Manitou Springs long has been an integral part of the life of this small town located near Colorado Springs and the base of historic Pikes Peak. Built in the winter of 1873, The Cliff House at Pikes Peak has been open to guests longer than Colorado has been a state, compiling a fascinating history of its own over its 125 years.
Additional Information: In 1997, Morley committed to the restoration, vowing to restore the hotel to its original distinction and fame, preserving the Rocky Mountain Victorian architecture of the 1800s, but incorporating 21st Century state-of-the-art technology and amenities. $9 million worth of restoration, refurbishing, and loving care have realized this vision. Accommodations Upgraded amenities for Suites include: 2 Person Spa Tub, Steam Showers with Body Sprays, Wet Bar, Gas Fireplaces, King Beds, Sitting Areas, and Heated Towel Racks. All Studios have either a Queen or Two Twin beds. Bathrooms have a shower or shower/tub only. All standard amenities included. Most are 200-300 square feet. Junior Suites: They feature queen size beds. Most are 250-300 square feet. Choice of 2 person Spa Tub or steam showers. Most have mountain views. All have gas fireplaces and a sitting area. 4th Floor rooms have vaulted ceilings. Deluxe Suites: All have 2 Person Spa Tubs (except 103 which has the steam showers). Most have views. All have gas fireplaces and sitting areas. Most are 300-400 square feet. Choice of Queen or King size beds. Amenities: The Cliff House at Pikes Peak restores the charm and elegance of bygone years. The Cliff House property is completely non-smoking.
