Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast Description: Boulder Colorado Bed and Breakfast, the Briar Rose offers lodging and accommodations for vacations and getaways ing the CO Rocky Mountains near the University of Colorado.Additional Information: Explore the elegant lodging facilities of the Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast Inn, located in the heart of Boulder, Colorado. Our nine guest rooms, and extended stay suite are individually decorated in a light Victorian mood, but offer all modern day amenities.Accommodations include the very best furnishings, bedding, private bath facilities, and telephones with dial-up internet connection. Choose a room with a wood burning fireplace or a cable TV. A complete breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, or in your personal guest room, plus our afternoon or evening Tea Tray is an irresistible experience. Enjoy the company of other guests and your hosts, or the peaceful solitude of our gardens and experience the highest level of individual service. The Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast is located close to all of the wonderful activities Boulder, CO has to offer: antiques, art, music, big time college sports and live theater. Hiking and bike trails abound, and can be reached right out our front door. Many of Boulder's best restaurants are within walking distance, as are the quaint shops on the Pearl Street Mall. The University of Colorado is a ten minute walk. Complete Spa facilities are close by. The Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast welcomes guests of all ages. Our relaxing inn can meet the needs of the stressed business traveler or provide a romantic interlude. For the long awaited vacation, a romantic get away, or the special business guest, remember the Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast when everything has to be just right. MAIN HOUSE ACCOMMODATIONS HONEYMOON ROOM: This large room features a queen bed, bath with rain shower, and wood burning fireplace. One of our most romantic rooms. ANNIVERSARY ROOM: Enjoy the wood burning fireplace from a private sitting area in this very large room. Private bath features a rain shower, and the queen bed is placed in a separate alcove. POPPY ROOM: Our coziest room features a full size bed, and bath with tub and shower. Perfect for the single visitor. Both inside and outside entrances provide easy access to our back yard sitting area. BOW ROOM: "Beau Room" might better describe this large room with queen bed and bath with tub and shower. The antique chase lounge provides a wonderful place to snuggle up with a good book, or a significant other. TWIN ROOM: Twin beds are great for siblings or friends traveling together. The bath has tub and shower, and an outside entrance gives great access to the back sitting area. CARRIAGE HOUSE ACCOMMODATIONS The carriage house is just a few steps across a stone patio from the main house, and features two first floor rooms with private patios, and two second story rooms which share a balcony with comfy rocking chairs. All Carriage House rooms have cable TV and dial up internet capable phones. PATIO ROOMS: High fenced private patios are the perfect intimate spot to relax, and sliding glass doors open up these rooms with queen beds and rain showers in the bath. BALCONY ROOMS: Big windows and queen beds, make these rooms wonderful for a romantic get away, but large tables with plenty of light provide work space for the business traveler. UPSTAIRS IN MAIN HOUSE EXECUTIVE SUITE: This apartment-like suite has complete kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, and living room with day bed couch. It can easily accommodate a family with children, or two individuals who want more space. The bath has a tub and shower, and there is a full dining area, which is perfect for small business meetings. A one week minimum stay is required for the suite. The carefully groomed gardens offer a private retreat for guests, an ideal setting for personal reflection, a quiet conversation or simply enjoying the many different plants, flowers, trees and shrubs, as well as the site of many small meetings and receptions. Tea trays featuring both herbal and black teas, are served every afternoon and evening until 9PM. Iced tea, lemonade and cider are also available. Combined with our special Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast shortbread cookies, a tea tray is an irresistible experience. Guests start the day with a complete breakfast including fresh fruit, home baked nut breads, muffins, croissants, yogurt with fruit, orange juice and granola. Coffee and tea are freshly brewed for your enjoyment. Breakfast is served either in our dining room or on the cheery sun porch, weather permitting. Arrangements can be made for in-room service. We belong to two state bed and breakfast associations, the Distinctive Inns of Colorado, DIOC, and the Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado, BBIC. Both feature high quality inns. We are inspected by AAA and are members of the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association, CHLA, and Professional Association of Innkeepers International, PAII. Amenities: Each of our nine rooms has its own distinctive character, but all rooms have private baths, personal phones, fine linens and "Fedderbet" comforters on queen size beds. Period antique furnishings, original art and fresh flowers decorate the rooms, and of course good books and magazines abound. The Honeymoon and Anniversary Rooms have wood burning fireplaces, and are the ideal spot for a romantic getaway. Our extended-stay suite offers a full kitchen, queen bed and day bed, meeting/dining space, and cable TV with VCR. A one-week minimum stay is required, and monthly rates are available.Activities: The Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast is located close to the University of Colorado, the Pearl Street pedestrian mall, the Crossroads Shopping Center, and most of Boulder's finest restaurants. It is less than an hour from downtown Denver and Denver International Airport, and direct Airport transportation is available.
