Boulder Outlook Hotel Description: When the hotel was purchased on December 5, 2002 by an investment team led by Dan King and Gregory Hartmann (both Boulderites), they did what they do best. With their combined 40 years of hotel consulting and operations experience and the resources of HVS Hotel Management and HVS International, they evaluated all the options. Additional Information: Should this prime real estate (literally steps from the University of Colorado campus) be leveled to build a new "vanilla" hotel or even a residential condo development? Does Boulder really need another upscale, formal, high price hotel? They surveyed business, university, tourism and community leaders, as well as hotel guests. Where's the unmet need? What do guests want?The decision: Create a new concept. Revive and enrich this solidly built 40-year old hotel property with personality, color and energy that reflects and celebrates Boulder, Colorado - an eclectic and unique town that surrounds us. Keep it affordably priced! (Who really wants to pay more?) Provide a full-service, mid-priced, professionally operated hotel, for corporate/business and leisure guests, with "unexpected" customer service and amenities. Provide opportunities for travelers to quench their thirst for adventure and to experience the "local flavor." Create a fun hotel experience in an informal, casual setting - a "Boulder Outlook Hotel Experience." The Boulder Outlook Hotel & Suites is operated by HVS Hotel Management, an international hotel company, based here in Boulder, CO. Suite Versatile Comfort best describes our Outlook Suites! You have the option to create your own 2 or 3 room suite. Your sleeping quarters connect to a nicely appointed living area with a refrigerator and a DVD player [DVD movies are available from our library of movies at the front desk.] The living quarters may connect to sleeping quarters with one king bed and/or two double beds. Executive Upgraded Practical Comfort is what our Outlook Executive Class rooms offer. All Executive Class rooms are on an interior corridor and provide quiet, secure comfort. There are two types: non-smoking king or non-smoking with two double beds. Every Executive Class room is equipped with: Complimentary high speed wireless internet access DVD Player Comfortable recliner and reading lamp Refrigerator Complimentary bottled water Upgraded amenities kit Custom bedspreads These rooms also feature new pillows, sheets and towels, ceramic mugs, complimentary shoe sponges & complimentary USA Today newspapers. These rooms offer a view of our beautiful "Boulder Square" recreation area, which includes our recently updated black bottom pool, with cascading waterfall, hot tub and our one-of-a-kind Bouldering Rock Area. Pet Standard Designated Fido Friendly - We value not only your comfort and safety, but also that of your "four legged" friend! Rooms feature one non-smoking king bed or two non-smoking double beds. Upon check-in, you'll receive a complimentary Fido Gift Pack, including a bowl, bag of treats and Boulder Outlook bandana. Our property has a special dog run area that is fully enclosed and convenient to the designated pet rooms [unattended pets are prohibited]. It's a spot where "Fido" can safely stretch, run around and "take care of his/her business!" We'll even furnish the bags and receptacle to clean up afterwards! We also offer a complimentary pet carrier with a soft sanitized pad [guest must provide credit card or cash deposit] and will provide information on area dog parks and pet friendly hiking areas upon request. Additionally, if your pet becomes ill, we have a Vet that will come to your room! If you need to leave your friend alone for the day, we can also arrange for dog walking services! These rooms feature one king bed [smoking or non-smoking] or two double beds [smoking or non-smoking]. We offer interior corridor entrances as well as parking at your door.
