The Christie Lodge offers one and three bedroom condo-suites. Each condo offers a partial kitchen, wood burning fireplace, balcony, queen sleeper sofa, child sized daybed, and a queen bed in the bedrooms. Each condo has been completely renovated to Vail Valley GOLD accomodation standards.

Winter Activities Welcome to Colorado's winter wonderland - The Vail Valley. Let us plan your perfect vacation. Prior to arrival call us to set up any of these activities. Vail is the largest ski area in the United States. Ask the Concierge Desk about lift ticket prices and mountain information. Don’t forget to ask them about Vail’s legendary back bowls! Beaver Creek Mountain is just up the hill from The Christie Lodge. Beaver Creek offers a European style “village to village” ski setting. Vail and Beaver Creek both offer a wide variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Ski and Snowboard School Vail and Beaver Creek are world renown for their ski and snowboard schools. Classes available for all abilities and ages for full day or half day skiing and snowboarding. Cross Country Skiing Lessons, rentals and back country tours on our beautiful nordic trails are available daily. Snow Shoeing Beaver Creek and Vail offer private instruction, specialty classes and a variety of signature programs. For a change of pace, snow shoe through the serene back country. Gourmet guiding tours are available. Challenge yourself! Private races are available for groups or individuals. Adventure Ridge at Eagles Nest Eagle's Nest is Vail's day and night mountain top activity center. Try ice skating, tubing, snowmobiling for adults and kids, ski biking, snowshoe tours and much more. Enjoy great eats at 10,000 feet. There are two restaurants on site. The Eagle Bahn Gondola is free after 2:00pm daily, so climb aboard to a mountain in motion. Dog Sledding A dog sled ride pulled by Alaskan Huskies through breathtaking scenery and wooded forests. 1/2 day and full day tours are available. Snowmobile Tours Have some fun and take in some breathtaking scenery on an exciting snowmobile tour! Tours run from 2 hours to an all day affair!. Children's Dinner Theater An evening of fun featuring the famous Beaver Creek Children's Theater along with wagon wheel pizza. Fun and games for children ages 5-12. Select Tuesdays and Thursdays, no parents allowed! Activities for Children and Families • Ski and Snowboard Lessons are available for children ages 3+ for skiing and ages 5+ for snowboarding. • Small World Playschools provide quality day care for 2 months to 6 year olds. Located in Vail and Beaver Creek: Reservations are recommended. • Adventure Ridge Activity Center is the best place on earth for all ages! Located on the top of the Gondola at Eagles Nest, don't miss this! There is everything from ice skating, tubing and snowmobiling, to video games and all sorts of food options. • Kids Night Out Dinner Theater offers a fun evening for kids ages 5-12 while parents enjoy an evening alone. Select nights in Vail and Beaver Creek. • The “20 Below Club" is Vail's youth center, located in the Lionshead parking structure. • Library Story Hours are offered in the Vail, Avon and Minturn Libraries. • "Hot Winter Nights" Ski and Snowboard complimentary shows are presented on select Wednesday nights. Bring the whole family for synchronized skiing, aerials, fireworks, music and great entertainment. • 'Thursday Night Lights' You and your family can participate in a glow stick ski down with fireworks!! Located in Beaver Creek. Intermediate and advanced skiers only. • Nastar challenges your family to a recreational ski race on Vail and Beaver Creek, with a chance to win medals in your age group. • Avon Rec. Center has a great indoor water center with slides, a lazy river, swim lanes, diving boards and a special kiddy area. There are monthly teen parties and a full range of exercise classes and equipment. • The Christie Lodge has various activities scheduled throughout the week. Horse-Drawn Sleighride Spend an evening under the stars in a sleigh pulled by Belgian draft horses. Dinner packages are available as well with transportation to some venues. Hot Air Ballooning Breathtaking scenery from a bird's eye view, on a sunrise flight. Transportation is available and a champagne brunch is served upon landing. Paintball Armed combat and jungle warfare, that's what paint balling has to offer. Load up your gas powered guns and get ready for a day of excitement as you prepare for your own miniature war. The perfect activity for family outings or corporate team building. There are no age restrictions so everyone can enjoy! Hot Air Ballooning You'll never forget the enchantment of a hot air balloon ride. The trip begins a little after sunrise to get the best of the days weather conditions. Once you've successfully left the ground the pilots will show the scenery from its best vantage point and each excursion will take up to three and a half hours with the flight taking between one and two hours. No children under the age of 6 are permitted. Ice Skating For those fans of ice-skating there are rinks at both the Beaver Creek and Vail Villages open all year round. Beaver Creek offers a more sedate experience with its small family rink in the village square. Vail has Dobson Arena, used for hockey teams and figure skating and also offers public skating times. Recreation Center The recreation center is conveniently located in Avon, only a five-minute walk from The Christie Lodge. The rec center offers a gym, swimming pool and children's pool. It is located next to the playing fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts and basketball courts at Nottingham Lake. The center also plays host to classes ranging from hip-hop dance to martial arts and self-defense. It's ideal for those who feel the need to keep in shape while on vacation. Hanging Lake is perhaps one of the most beautiful sites in Colorado and is a hike that most people can easily handle. Beaver Creek also has much to offer hikers.
