The Residence Hotel - Aspen Description: Aspen's Hotel of European Suites was originally built in 1886 in classic Victorian Architecture. It is located on Galena Street exactly in the center of town, and is only 2 blocks from Aspen Mountain. The Hotel is only steps away from world class dining and shopping for which Aspen is famous.
Additional Information: This small and charming Hotel contains seven suites and apartments. Each one is individually decorated with a European flavor and has Old World high ceilings. Bedrooms are filled with Ralph Lauren linens and down-filled duvets. Original antique furnishings and accent pieces adorn each room, while walls are covered with Museum quality artwork and designer fabrics. Most have wood-burning fireplaces. Crystal chandeliers, Persian rugs, and large overstuffed sofas and chairs to give each suite the comforts of home. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and downtown areas are seen from each suite. Many of the suites contain oversized sunken tubs, some with jacuzzis, steam showers and separate marble vanities, while others contain hand painted Sherle Wagner sinks and gold fixtures.The English Victorian #1 Elegant, spacious one bedroom apartment, overlooking Hyman St. Mall, with an inviting living room and a large gourmet kitchen.
