The Whistler Outback - Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Description: The luxurious Whistler Outback rental property is a timber framed chalet with a sunken hot tub and stunning views. A new, 5 bedroom, 6 bath, 3500 square foot, luxury timber framed chalet perched on the first fairway of the Nicklaus North Golf Course, on the Valley Trail and just a five minute drive from the excitement of the Whistler Village and Whistler Blackcomb Mountains. Additional Information: This unique Whistler rental property is the ultimate venue for family reunions, executive retreats or just comfortable time out with good friends. Step outside the French doors on to the large, private, southwest facing deck with sunken hot tub and the breath-taking beauty of Whistler Blackcomb Mountains comes into full panoramic view beyond the manicured lawns or snow white vastness of the Nicklaus North first fairway. Back inside and up a separate staircase, the master suite includes over 700 square feet of seclusion with king bed and luxurious linens, wrought iron gas fireplace with reading chairs, vaulted ceiling with views of Green Lake, and an over stuffed love seat to relax and watch videos. The en suite includes heated tiled floor, 6 foot soaker tub, 2 person shower, 2 sink wooden vanity and awesome views of the coastal mountain range beyond. In the winter months, step out the back door of The Outback, slap your skinny skis on and experience over 25 kilometers of both skate and classic groomed cross country trails. Go right for a leisurely ski along the gentle and tranquil golf course trails where God surely lives or go left to link up to the breathtaking and formidable paths of Lost Lake Park. Outside the front door, you can walk or ski with the dog for miles along Green Lake, down The River of Golden Dreams to Rainbow Park on Alta Lake (keep your eyes open for migrating trumpeter swans on all of these waterways).
In the summer months, walk out the front door to book your tee time at the Nicklaus North Golf Course, hit balls on the Driving Range or just sip a cool one on the Clubhouse Patio and check out the dinner specials. Put your riding shorts on and peddle to Lost Lake where you can relax on the beach or venture to the nudie docks to relive your youth. If running is your passion, jog along miles of dirt trails through wooded splendor but watch out for black bears cuz they love Whistler too!
Just a hop, skip and a jump is Rainbow Sports Centre open all year round with skating, aerobics, weight training, lane pool, kid's water park, steam room, sauna and whirlpool. Just a nominal fee will get you in for all that fun.
