In winter, the park-like golf course becomes a true winter wonderland. Put on your cross-country skis and go!! Miles of groomed cross-country trails are literally right outside the door of the chalet - and will provide days worth of sightseeing!
A popular trail will take you to Lost Lake Park (about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace) where the cross country trails continue and warming huts await you. The main trails at Lost Lake Park are even lit for night skiing!
Bring your skates, snowshoes, and toboggans and you’ll have endless fun on nearby lakes and mountain trails. Again, they're right outside the door of the chalet!
And if that's not enough, there's the incredible downhill skiing that Whistler is famous for!! Ski to your heart’s content at the #1 rated ski resort in North America!! Whistler / Blackcomb offers fantastic terrain for skiers at every level. The ski lifts are about a 5 minute drive away!!
After a day in the fresh mountain air, treat yourself to some wonderful dining at either of two nearby restaurants - both walking distance and perhaps Whistler's best! Joel’s is at the nearby Clubhouse, and the Edgewater Inn is a 15 minute stroll north on the Valley Trail. You'll want to make reservations!

The Whistler area features 4 championship courses and has been rated as one of the "Top 20 Golfing Destinations in the World" by Golf Digest magazine. Avid golfers are truly spoilt with such a great selection.
Our chalet is located right on the beautiful 14th fairway on the world-renowned Nicklaus North golf course, so you’ll immediately find yourself in the midst of the golfing action. Take a 5-minute stroll over to Clubhouse and you’re on your way to a first-class golfing experience.
Green Lake - right next to the clubhouse - is a big beautiful glacial lake that has floatplane access, fishing, canoeing, and wonderful nature trails around the lake. The trails at Green Lake are part of the amazing Valley Trail system that connects the whole Whistler valley with an extensive network of excellent trails for walking, jogging, mountain biking, and even roller-blading.
Take an easy ten minute walk to Meadow Park Sports and Recreation Center which has swimming pools, hot pools, a skating rink, squash courts, a steam room, and a fully-equipped fitness centre. Just outside is Meadow Park with a large grassy field and a waterpark – perfect for the whole family!
Go horseback riding. The stables are also just about a 10 minutes walk on the Valley trail towards the Edgewater Inn.
If you're feeling energetic, take a walk through beautiful forest trails to Lost Lake - it takes about 40 minutes to walk there. Have a picnic, go for a swim (the lake is spring-fed) and enjoy the scenery!
For great dining, walk to two of Whistler’s favorite restaurants. Joel’s is a just a 5 minute walk to the nearby Clubhouse and the Edgewater Inn is a relaxing 15 minute walk north on the Valley Trail. Both have excellent dining and stunning views of Green Lake.
Shop, dine, and sightsee in the famous Whistler Village! Hundreds of shops and excellent restaurants are about 5 minutes away by car! |
