Delta Whistler Resort helps families travel with ease, by welcoming parents and children from the moment they check in. Children are provided with their very own "Kids Kit" filled with goodies to enjoy during there stay. At the Delta Whistler Resort, kids have fun too!

Relax in one of 288 spacious guest rooms, many with fire places, kitchens, balconies, Jacuzzi tubs and lots of spectacular mountain views.

Whistler Winter Activities: Alpine Skiing & Boarding Rising one vertical mile from the village of award-winning west coast architecture, Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains offer the greatest vertical rise of any ski area in North America, and its massive high-alpine terrain rivals the major ski resorts of Europe. Cross-Country Skiing More than 17.5 miles of track-set cross-country trails wind through the scenic Lost Lake, Chateau Whistler Golf Course and Nicklaus North Golf Course. Whistler Golf Course offers ideal beginners route. Flightseeing Many companies in the area offer a wide range of tours from 20 minute sightseeing trips to all day excursions with gourmet meals included. Breathtaking scenic glacier tours, heli-picnics and backcountry skiing are all options. Your imagination is the limit. Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides Take a romantic sleighride through our winter wonderland. Snowshoeing Take a peaceful trek along tranquil forest trails on snowshoes. Guided tours, instruction and rentals are available from various local vendors. Dogsledding Experience one of the most ancient forms of travel. Alaskan Huskies and their Musher lead you through the magnificent Whistler wilderness. Heli-Skiing Looking for the perfect activity to add a new dimension to your ski vacation? Try Heli-skiing, it is great for intermediate or advanced skiers. With a wide variety of packages available there is a package that is right for you. Powder ski rentals are available. Ice Skating Stop by Meadow Park Sports Centre and enjoy an afternoon of ice skating. Skate rentals are available. Snowmobiling Snowmobile adventures take visitor's off the beaten track to experience the backcountry at it's greatest. Tours are available for all levels and include qualified guides, instruction, helmets. Transportation to and from the village is also included. Lunch and dinner tours are available upon request. Whistler Summer Activities: Mountain Biking All summer long, thrill seekers can experience guided mountain bike descents 4,000 vertical feet to the Valley below. Self guided and tours from 2-5 hours available from April through October Hiking Tour Day or overnight hikes are available on the myriad of park routes in the valley and on surrounding mountains. Heli-hiking trips offer even more exciting alpine adventures. These tours last from 1-8 hours and are generally available from May through October. Alpine Sightseeing Hiking Ride high- tech lifts to the wonderful alpine world where, high above the village on Whistler Mountain, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through alpine meadows, serene alpine lakes or spend the day relaxing atop a mountain. Guided tours last 2-4 hours available from July through October. Walking Tours Everything in Whistler is accessible by foot, and there is no better way to see the Resort then by talking a stroll on the paved and gravel valley trails, with plenty of benches and rest areas along the way. Gondola Rides From July to October ride the fully enclosed Whistler Village Gondola to the top of the mountain. Through out the summer, the Roundhouse Lodge at the top of the Gondola ride offers lunches, barbecues, Sunday brunch, snacks and unparalleled views of the surrounding valley. Glacier Skiing & Snowboarding The sun may say summer, but the skiing and snowboarding are still going strong on Blackcomb Mountains Horstman Glacier. From June 11 to August 6th weather conditions permitting the fun never ends. Bear Tours / Eco Tours Experience unforgettable views of wildlife, glacial peaks and sunsets as you travel through the deep old growth coastal hemlock-cedar forests of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. From May through October some 50 black bears make their home here. You will navigate mountain access roads and rolling green ski trails in a comfortable 4X4 vehicle to visit active bears dens, daybeds and feeding sites. Tours last 3 hours and are available from May to October. Summer Kids Programs Meadow Park Sports centre is a full-facility recreation centre with ice arena, squash courts, fitness centre, swimming pool, children's fun pool and an outdoor water park. Summer camps are also available for kids ages 6 to 12 years and offers activities such as boardsailing, canoeing, in-line skating as well as arts and crafts Whistler Summer Kids is a daily drop in program for children 18 months to 14 years of age. Activities include hiking, canoeing, windsurfing, rock climbing, arts and crafts, wildlife and nature discussions and more. Mini Golf Play a round at an 18 hole mini golf course with named holes after Blackcomb's most inspiring ski terrain. Golfing Whistler With four championship golf courses, Whistler is one of the most spectacular golf destinations in the world. The Whistler Golf Club Canada's first design by Arnold Palmer, the Whistler Golf Club features nine lakes, two winding creeks, lush rolling greens and magnificent views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. 18 - hole Par 72 Nicklaus North Golf Club A Jack Nicklaus "Signature design" located in the village amid the coast Mountains overlooking the shores of Green Lake. 18-hole Par 71 The Chateau Whistler Golf Course Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. the Chateau Whistler Golf Club has an elevation gain of nearly 400 feet and has been recognized as "Mountain Golf at its finest"… 18-hole Par 72 Big Sky Golf & Country Club Designed by Robert Cupp, Big Sky is tucked beside the massive Mount Currie and features spectacular 360 degree mountain views and bent grass on tees, fairways and greens. 18-hole Par 72 Fishing Join one of our guided fishing trips to secret valley and alpine locations, accessed only by 4X4 vehicles, boats, helicopter or plane. Licenses are required and can be purchased at various locations through out the valley. Tours last 3-9 hours and are available year round. Best months are May to October. ATV Tours Take an exciting tour of Blackcomb Mountain and the surrounding valley. Climb aboard a modern and quiet ATV and let your professional guide lead you along a variety of trails and open play areas. It's even more fun in the rain ! Tours last 1.5+ hours and are available April through September. Horseback Riding Join in on our unforgettable day of fun, riding in lush meadows, across rivers and along shaded lake side paths. Explore the alpine terrain of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Evening rides are also available. Tours last 1-3 hours and are available from May to October. Water Sports Five lakes and countless rivers run through out the Whistler Valley, offering swimming, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing or just relaxing on a sandy beach soaking up the sun. River Rafting With many rivers to choose from and tours from 2.5-8 hours you are sure to find excitement on the water. Spectacular views, exciting rapids and professional guides will ensure a unforgettable experience. Tours last 1-8 hours and are available from May to September. Jet Boat Tours Jet boat trips will see adventure seekers zipping to the headwaters to view the water falls and wildlife, and the riding the waves for an unforgettable thrill. Tours last 1-8 hours and are available from May to September. Climbing & Mountaineering Discover Whistler's spectacular back country with a professional guide, from day hikes to expeditions you will experience Whistler's beauty. We also have indoor climbing facilities available as well. Tours last 2+ hours and are available from April to October. Paragliding Hummer Tours Flightseeing Many companies in the area offer a wide range of tours from 20 minute sightseeing trips to all day excursions with gourmet meals included. Fly in for 3 day camping trips or try heli mountain biking. Your imagination is the limit. Tours last 30 min+ and are available from April to November. Whistler's Indoor Activities: Health Club & Spa Mountain Health Club amenities include, exercise facilities, heated outdoor pool ,indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, dry sauna and massage, shiatsu therapy and outdoor tennis courts. Library & Museum Spend the day and lose your self in a good book at the Whistler Public Library or spend the afternoon at the Whistler Museum and gift shop. Offering exhibits and information on the region, natural history and skiing. Shows and village tours are also available. Movie Theatre Take in a first run movie at the Rainbow Theatre located in the lower level of the Whistler Conference Centre. Or pick up a video from rental stores in Whistler Village. Art Galleries There are many fine art galleries in Whistler Village. Adele-Campbell Fine Art Gallery is one them and is located within the Delta Whistler Resort's extensive retail area. Rock Climbing No matter what the weather outside, you can spend the day in comfort learning to climb a mountain at the Great Wall Underground, Whistlers indoor climbing centre. Whistler Cooking School Meadow Park Sports Centre Meadow Park Sports centre is a full-facility recreation centre with ice arena, squash courts, fitness centre, swimming pool, children's fun pool and an outdoor water park.
