Enjoy the subtle lighting, the warmth and ambience of the floor to ceiling rock fireplace and the solid strength of the magnificent timbers. Settle in to bed with the twinkling lights of the groomers as they prepare Whistler and Blackcomb mountains for tomorrow’s adventure, enjoy the glow of the moon as it moves over the snowy peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb, then wake up to the early morning sun as it rises to the East, welcoming another glorious day in our paradise. "The Fitzsimmons" This second guestroom offers cozy comfort for 1 or 2 guests. Inspired by a Whistler winter scene by Vancouver artist Rachel Gourley, this room is decorated in subdued blues and winter whites and is furnished with country pine pieces and collectibles . This peaceful and relaxing retreat invites you to steal away from the activity around you. A private 3 piece ensuite bathroom features custom made pine cabinetry; imported tiles and a wonderful custom built oversize tiled shower. Families renting this chalet home will enjoy this bedroom as perfect Nanny accommodation or a bedroom for an older child or second couple. Our third bedroom, called the Bear's Den is great for children of all ages to share! Our Bear theme is favorite with all our guests - definitely a Whistler theme! "The Bears' Den" This third guestroom faces north, offering majestic views of Armchair Glacier and Wedge Mountain. Able to comfortably accommodate 4 - 6 people, this room features the rustic luxury of handcrafted pine bunks - one set of single bunks and a second set of double bunks - comfortable sleeping for either children or adults. The bedroom has a cozy loft for quiet movie watching - accessible by a ladder staircase, this loft has tv/vcr. In keeping with the rustic nature of the bedroom, the private bath is decorated in deep greens and natural wood tones. This 3 piece bath features a soaker tub surrounded by custom tile work and pine accents creating a space reminiscent of the forest. The décor, inspired by the woods and wildlife of Whistler includes a variety of folk art pieces and carvings celebrating the "Black Bear" – one of our more commonly seen visitors.
