Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge - Revelstoke - British Description:
Accommodation in Revelstoke BC should reflect the incredible mountain beauty and Canadian hospitality that makes Revelstoke one of Canada's premier mountain destinations. At Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge, we make it our mission to deliver on that expectation.

Additional Information:
Our accommodation facility was conceived, built and is operated with the goal of always exceeding the expectations of our guests (to read their comments, click here). From the outstanding views of pristine Griffin Lake and the snow-capped peaks that surround it to the cozy and rustic lodge itself, we strive to make your stay here with us the highlight of your trip.

But as important as the physical and natural beauty that surrounds us, your "accommodation in Revelstoke" should also include first class service. As a small 5 guestroom lodge, we are able to take the time to deliver individualized service to each of our discerning guests. From the warm welcome to the often sad farewells, the personal touch is what makes special memories of our experience as innkeepers as well as those of our guests.

You are sure to find plenty of activities to keep you occupied, some without leaving the property. Enjoy and explore our 3 acres and 500 feet of south facing lakefront property. There are several canoes and kayaks for complimentary guest use, a few short wilderness hiking trails to embark upon, an outdoor hot tub/Jacuzzi, a horseshoe throwing pit area, salmon spawning beds where Griffin Lake empties into the fast flowing Eagle River, fishing, swimming, or simply relax with a good book on the patio, the lakeshore or in the quaint and cozy guest lounge. Also, daily guided hiking trips offered by Eagle River Adventure Hiking BC leave the lodge each morning. These hikes begin with an exciting Hummer ride that whisks you up to over 1,600m where the beauty and the hike begins. Check their site for details.

After a fun and activity packed day, we offer (some say it's the best part) great home-cooked meals followed by a nightly campfire by the lake. Here our guests from around the world share their stories (some are no doubt true) and simply enjoy comraderie, discussion and humour while gazing at the fire or the star filled skies. Finish off the night by retiring to the restful and relaxing atmosphere of your room, complete with a private ensuite bath and a quality bed with fine linens.

But wait - that's not all. You also wake up each morning to the gorgeous views of the lake and a hearty home-cooked breakfast. All meals are prepared with only the finest ingredients and care and served on the second level dining area. Fresh brewed coffee and an assortment of teas is always available - without charge.
