Glacier House Resort - Revelstoke, British Columbi Description: Glacier House Resort is located near Glacier National Park in British Columbia, our 16 room hotel resort plus 10 log cabins offer a variety of recreation activities.Additional Information: Our four-season, outdoor and Spa resort is located amidst the glaciated peaks of the Columbia Mountains, 6 kilometers north of the town of Revelstoke in central British Columbia. Surrounded by a magnificent mountain wilderness, Lake Revelstoke and Mt. Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks, the 4 star resort is an ideal getaway for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.Modeled after the late 1800's Glacier House, the historic appearance of this brand new Canadian mountain lodge hides modern comforts, such as spacious fireplace rooms, a large indoor pool, health spa, sauna, massage and fitness facilities, as well our glacier view dining room and a historic sportsmen's pub. The historic values of the past are retained in the large open fireplaces, historic pictures, and old-fashioned service. Glacier House Resort is truly Revelstoke's finest Outdoor and Spa Resort. It's quiet and scenic location only 5 minutes north from Revelstoke, offers unparalleled views of the Columbia Mountain and Wildlife is often seen right from your room or cabin as Black bear and Moose frequent the area. The historic appearance of this typical Canadian mountain lodge, hides modern comforts, such as a large indoor pool, health spa, sauna, massage, business suites and modern fitness facilities. The Glacier House Resort provides a variety of accommodation options for your stay. The Main Lodge offers well appointed deluxe lodge rooms with spectacular mountain views, cozy fireplaces and easy access to the lodge's amenities. The Deluxe Log Chalets are spacious and comfortable, and available with one or two bedrooms, front decks, kitchenettes and full bathrooms. Amenities: Indoor Pool, Sauna & Spa:Pool and spa Facilities are available to all registered guests. You gotta see our indoor pool, located on the main floor of the lodge is has a clear view of the Begbie Glacier. This is the largest pool in all of Revelstoke! The pool features a lap lane of 55 foot length (60 laps = 1 kilometer) and ranges from 3 to 5 foot depth. The average Temperature is 26-27 Degrees Celsius. Pool hours are 9am till 9 pm. Lap-lane swimming from 8 am on. Children under 14 require parent supervision at all times. Please shower before entering the pool, spa or sauna. Our Indoor Hot Tub easily seats 8 people. Overlooking the pool and gardens it has a large adjacent deck, great for relaxing. Spa temperature is 38-40 degrees Celsius. Please do not bring cans or glassware into the pool area. Paper cups (with the appropriate beverage) can be ordered from the front desk/ pub. Sauna Party? Our 7 x 11 feet Sauna seats up to 10 people. Please shower before entering, and shower afterwards before entering the pool or hot tub. Showers and changing rooms are reached from the pool by the stairs leading down. Additional towels may be picked up at the front desk. Your room key will open the secured pool door. Gift Shop: Our gift shop features local art, a variety of souvenirs shirts, hats , film, drinks , cuddly teddy bears, snacks, Canadian souvenirs and more. In the winter we carry a full range of snowmobile oils, octane booster, sunglasses, hats etc. Spa & Massage Therapy: Pamper Yourself! Visit the new Alpine Meadows Spa to enjoy relaxing massages, body wraps and other spa services. Available daily, including evening appointments, serving both men and women clientele.
