Each one of the suites has been individually decorated with the furnishings and finishings of the 1940s. The era's function and style combine with airy, bright ambiance and picture-perfect views of the Selkirk Mountains and Kootenay Lake, creating a subtle luxury perfect for relaxation and comfort.

Fifteen rooms offer private double and triple occupancy lodgings, just down the hall from a bustling common room and light cooking facilities. International Hostel rates are available.

The New Grand has conference and ballroom facilities tailored for all audience sizes, presentation needs and atmosphere.

Private conference rooms are available for groups as small as 15. The hotel's spacious ballroom fits more than 100. (Check your calendar! The ballroom is the site of the New Grand Annual Wine Festival, the third weekend in October.)
