Comfortable accommodation is provided in two beautifully restored heritage homes, both tastefully decorated with plants, wicker and antiques. The Inn is conveniently located one block from shopping, galleries, restaurants, and theatre, making it the perfect choice for your year-round travelling comfort. Your knowledgeable hosts, Lynda and Jerry, have tried to anticipate your every need, and will help you discover all that the Nelson area has to offer - we'll help make your visit to Nelson a memorable one. Welcome. Inn the Garden Bed and Breakfast is located halfway between Calgary and Vancouver (about an eight hour drive) and three hours north of Spokane, Washington. We are the only bed and breakfast in British Columbia to achieve BC Hydro's Green Hotel-Plus status. The main house, a large three storey Victorian, offers 5 guest rooms plus a private two bedroom suite. This home features a terraced front garden, high ceilings, and a comfortable guest lounge overflowing with books and magazines. Guests are welcome to make tea or coffee anytime in the refreshment area next to the dining room. Next door, the charming three-bedroom Guest House is perfect for groups, families and couples wanting a private getaway. The Guest House provides a large living room with TV, VCR and fireplace, fully equipped country kitchen, and an inviting backyard. Our Guest House is the only accommodation of its type licenced and approved by the City of Nelson. Inn the Garden Bed and Breakfast also offers: Ample off-street parking. Ski/bike storage facilities. Inn the Garden has been selected to provide accommodation for the Mountain Waters Spa & Wellness Centre. The Centre is located just one block from us on Victoria Street - a 2 minute walk away. The Wellness Centre offers a variety of individually tailored spa services including Watsu, an aquatic therapy massage in their private indoor warm water pool. The Mountain Waters Spa & Wellness Centre also offers guided wilderness hikes around the Nelson area. Spa services and wilderness hiking are all designed to promote your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing!
