Come stay at the Rustic Rooster, just a 25 minute drive from Nelson or Castlegar, 3 1/2 hours from Spokane. Surrounded by mountains, our tongue and groove cedar home, complete with vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling brick fireplace, hot tub and indoor sauna, is nestled amidst towering cedar trees on 3 and a half private, park-like acres. Extensive gardens, complete with ponds, fountains, creeks and bridges, surround the house.
The front yard is bordered by the abandoned CPR Railroad, an ideal recreational corridor for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing in the winter.
The back yard is bordered by the Slocan River perfect for tubing, river-rafting, kayaking, or simply to sit and reflect, refresh your senses, or read a good book.
Amenities: In the evening, cozy up by the fire. Relax. Listen to music, watch a video, read a book, try a board game, strum on our guitar or play our piano. Don't forget the hot tub and sauna!
