Mountain Edge/Silver Birch Condos Description: Newly renovated golf and ski accommodation at Kimberley BC. True ski in ski out location and close to four regional golf courses. Additional Information: Kimberley British Columbia offers some of the best outdoor activities in Canada. The Kimberley Alpine Resort has world class skiing and snowboarding, and the spectacular golf of Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap, St. Eugene's and Kimberley Golf course are all within close driving proximity. Our accommodation is a great place to stay while enjoying all that Kimberley has to offer.Our rental condos have undergone major interior and exterior renovations, including new flooring, paint and furniture. We prioritize the rental of units that have the most renovations, so plan your ski and golf vacation early to ensure that you stay in the nicest of our units. Mountain Edge has 1 bedroom apartment style condominiums-small or deluxe. Both types of units have a queen bed in the bedroom, a double pull out sofa or futon in the living room, a gas fireplace, television, telephone microwave, private entrance and balcony. The smaller units have a sitting room and a kitchenette including 3 burner stove, oven and bar fridge. The deluxe units have a sitting room and a full size kitchen with full size appliances including dishwasher. These units can sleep 2-4 people and can have an adjoining door opened between them to create a two bedroom condo from the two styles. We have recently added a BBQ area with two large natural gas BBQs. Great for group BBQs! Other on-site amenities at Mountain edge include an outdoor hot tub, 3 dry saunas, coin washer & dryer, pop machine and some covered parking. New! - we now have two 3 bedroom units with brand new private hot tubs located outside on their decks. Silver Birch has both spacious 2 & 3 bedroom townhouses and economical hotel units. The three level, 2 bedroom townhouse has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper level. It has a full size kitchen, a dining area and a living room with 2 double pull out sofa beds and a wood burning fireplace on the main floor. There is an en suite sauna and a shower located on the lower floor. The 3 bedroom unit is the hotel unit and 2 bedroom unit combined with an adjoining door opened in between. The hotel units can sleep 2-4 people. 2 bedroom units can sleep up to 8 people. The 3 bedroom unit can sleep 10 people without being too crowded. There is no hot tub at the Silver Birch unit. Each of the townhouses have private carports. Over the past two years, Kimberley Alpine Resort has undergone a major expansion. This has been of great benefit to the Mountain Edge and Silver Birch complexes. With the addition of the new North Star High Speed Quad lift, we now have easy access to the main lift on the ski hill, as can be seen below. A trail cut through the trees from behind Mountain Edge provides guests at both Mountain Edge and Silver Birch with convenient ski in/ski out location. *This trail is not patrolled by the ski hill, and guests must use the trail at their own risk. Another addition to the ski hill is the new Alpine Village, including the well renowned Kelsey's Restaurant. The picture below is taken from the patio at Kelsey's which is south facing an gets a lot of sun. This is an ideal place for après ski entertainment, as it is only a short walk back to your accommodation. |
