British Columbia Vacation Rental - Cottage at Wind Description: Nestled in the pine tree's bordering Kimberley's nature park, you will find our retreat. Cottage at Windy Pines is the perfect place for a family or a couple to relax & unwind. You can cross-country ski, snowshoe or hike from your door.
Additional Information: You will experience deer meandering through the property, jack rabbits scurrying to their burrows & colorful hummingbirds & flickers will entertain you as you relax on the decks.A steady stream of sunshine flows through the chalet, giving you a true uplifting feeling. Kimberley enjoys more sunshine than any other destination in all of British Columbia. The spacious main floor has a open concept with huge vaulted ceilings & plenty of windows. The chalet has been tastefully decorated with the finest attention to detail. As you meander through the chalet, you will experience quality craftsmanship. Pealed pine log railings, antique sports prints & memorabilia and colorful throw rugs give you that warm home away from home feeling. The master bedroom is located in the loft. Fine beddings, down duvets a huge double soaker tub will make your stay truly unforgettable. The basement has two additional bedrooms, laundry room & a full kitchen. The chalet can accommodate 8 guests comfortably. Located just 10 minutes from the Kimberley ski hill & 15 min from the Cranbrook airport. Transportation can be included please enquire. We also have a local shopping service that can arrange to have the fridge stocked for your arrival. Come experience Kimberley, "The Bavarian City of the Rockies." Activities: Scenic biking and hiking paths thread through Kimberley Nature Park. The Mark Creek Nature Trail leads to Marysville Falls, a 100 foot waterfall. This area offers unrivalled views of the Rocky Mountains. Cottage at Windy Pines is located near Kimberley Nature Park in British Columbia.

Dining:
Kimberley has a excellent selection of restaurants. Located in the platzel " the gasthaus" "The Old Bauernhaus" 280 Norton street a 350-year-old Bavarian farmhouse. Both offer authentic German cuisine.
Shopping:
The platzel has Canada's largest cuckoo clock. You can wait for the town mascot to pop out & sing or pop in a coin for a instant show. There are many shops form ladies clothing to specialty foods, hardware etc.
