Lakewood Inn Description: Nestled on the shores of beautiful Kootenay Lake, the Lakewood Inn has been offering its guests a restful break from life's frantic pace since 1927. The setting is majestic with the Selkirk range behind and the Purcell mountains and Kootenay Lake in front.
Additional Information: We offer our guests a choice of several fully equipped log cabins and trailers, each with covered porches and lake views. The RV and campsites are scattered throughout the property and are either lakeside or in a woodsy setting. Our marina includes boat launching, moorage, boat rentals, gas and fishing licenses. For added enjoyment, relax on our private beach, ease tension in the sauna or enjoy a campfire.

The SS Moyie
- This incredible boat was the last running passenger sternwheeler in North America. It has now been restored into an incredible museum. A must see.

- This museum located in downtown Kaslo shows a glimpse into the rich history of the town and surrounding area.

Heritage Home Walking Tour
- With book in hand, you can easily walk this historic tour detailing many of the older buildings and homes throughout Kaslo. A great way to spend an hour or two.

- Spelunking! Just north of Ainsworth Hot Springs. Guided tours are available.
