Fernie is famous for its world-class downhill skiing and superb powder snow. Our resort also offers extensive groomed cross country ski trails of all levels. As well there is snowmobiling, dog sledding, snow shoeing, and much more at the resort.
The over 100 year old mining community of Fernie boasts a rich and fascinating history of a bygone era. The downtown core, only 5 minutes away has been revitalized with modern shops that will appeal to the most discriminating shopper. Visitors will also find that the town has maintained it historic architecture and charm throughout.
There is a wide variety of dining options both in town and on the hill, that provide fine dining and family restaurants. The beautiful new Fernie Aquatic Centre with its huge hot tub, children’s pool, and waterslide is sure to be a hit with the kids and adults alike.
In summer, the area is home to fabulous fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, wildlife viewing, whitewater rafting and golf.
Amenities: Log Inn boasts all the amenities of a first-class, self-hosted luxury chalet. The spacious, open-plan grand room features towering ceilings with huge windows overlooking the ski hill. The well-appointed kitchen offers all major appliances including gas stove and is stocked with the basic food staples.
A massive dining table makes Log Inn perfect for large group, apres ski dinner parties. Afterwards, relax in the outdoor hot tub on the lower-level backyard deck.
Downstairs, the large rec room is fully equipped with fridge, ping pong table, exercise equipment, darts and other games fun for the whole family.
Log Inn sleeps 10 to 14 people with three bedrooms on the main floor and two downstairs, all with queen beds. There are also two double sofa beds downstairs.
Other features include three bathrooms, barbeque, washer and dryer, large mud room, two TVs, a large selection of movies and much more.
