Standard Rooms
Standard rooms contain either two queen size beds or one queen size and a hide abed.
Executive Suites
Our executive suites feature two rooms with a
Jacuzzi bathtub. One room contains a king size bed while the other room is a living room area. A balcony extends the full length of the suite.
Amenities: Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and a cozy lounge. The Cedar Lodge conference room is suitable for business meetings, seminars, private dinners and small weddings.
Have a drink in the lounge before dinner or after a long day. Dry cleaning and laundry can be arranged. Fax machine, photocopier, overhead projector screen and VCR are also available.
Activities: The Cedar Lodge is located across from the hockey arena, a ten to fifteen minute walk to downtown shopping, historical buildings, or the Annex park where friendly ducks await visitors. It is a five minute drive to the Fernie Golf and Country Club in the summer and to Fernie Alpine Resort in the winter. There is a fitness centre very close by.
Fernie offers visitors much more than just golf and skiing. The newly developed Trans-Canada trail, due for completion in the year 2000 crosses the rockies just north of the city near Elkford. The Elk River is teaming with various species of fish and is home to one of North America's still natural stocks of Cutthroat Trout.
Mountain biking, river rafting, cross country skiing, local mountain trails, snowmobile trails and historic sites make a stay in Fernie exciting as the choices of things to do just goes on and on.
