Canmore's Georgetown Inn Description:

Country inn located in downtown Canmore next to Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Full bed and breakfast inn service, onsite lounge and restaurant.

No longer a secret, Canmore's Georgetown Inn has been welcoming guests to the Canadian Rockies since 1993 by providing outstanding mountain accommodation just minutes from Banff National Park.

The classic Tudor English exterior with its patios and English gardens will immediately beckon you inside. Here you will discover 21 beautifully appointed guest rooms, each one unique in its appearance and décor. Your comfort is paramount at the Georgetown Inn, and we offer amenities to make you feel right at home. We hope to make your Canmore vacation the best it can be.

In the morning wander down to the Three Sisters Dining Room for breakfast to start your day in the Rockies. Spend the day exploring Canada's Mountain Parks, a UNESCO world heritage site. In the evening join other guests and relax by the fireplace in the Miners' Lounge. A tribute to Canmore's past, the lounge is decorated as an English country pub with memorabilia tucked into every corner.

Victoria Room

Whatever the occasion, Victoria Rooms are sure to please. A tribute to Queen Victoria (1819-1901), who has held the most enduring reign to date. Our most popular guest rooms are designed with an abundance of features. Each one with a spacious sitting area, comfortable armchairs, bathrobes and anchored by a gas or electric fireplace. The luxurious king bed is adorned with an abundance of pillows. The highlight is the 2 person jetted tub, within the room, which is fit for royalty. Perfect for an anniversary, honeymoon or an excuse for a romantic getaway. Maximum 2 persons.

Albert Room

The Albert Rooms are dedicated to Prince Albert, who was married to Queen Victoria in 1840. The Albert guest rooms feature a king bed, sitting area, gas or electric fireplace, 1 person jetted tub in the bathroom and vaulted ceiling. The wet bar with mini fridge and coffee maker is ideal for storage of beverages and snacks. Perfect for extended stays and for those who require extra space within their guest room. Maximum 2 persons.

Elizabeth Room

The Elizabeth Rooms are glorious and refined much like Queen Elizabeth I (1537-1603). Every guest room reveals a rich story of women who have made a contribution to our local history. Decor is alluring and elegant. Each guest room has one queen bed, comfortable armchairs and gas or electric fireplace. Maximum 2 persons.

William Room

These guest rooms are spacious with a sense of purpose, much like William the Conqueror. William I (1027 or 1028-1087) governed during one of England's most famous battles, the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Every guest room displays history of mountaineering men and their lasting impressions. Each has two queen beds, comfortable sitting area and an English cottage stove for warmth and ambiance. These guest rooms are ideal for people requiring separate beds. Maximum 4 persons.

Louise Room
3 units
A great introduction to The Georgetown Inn experience. In honour of Louise Caroline Alberta, daughter of Queen Victoria and wife of the Governor-General of Canada. The province of Alberta was also named for her as was world famous Lake Louise. These guest rooms display personality and character.

Each of our guest rooms is uniquely decorated, have ensuite bathrooms, televisions, clock radios, hair dryers, coffee maker, kettle and luxurious down duvets.

Guestrooms:
All guest rooms have individually controlled heat and cooling thermostats with windows that open. Each are equipped with a telephone with data port and a television with VCR or DVD Player, clock radio, and hair dryer.
Complimentary Coffee & Tea:
Each guest room has a coffee maker and a kettle with an assortment of specialty teas and coffee. Complimentary newspapers and magazines are available from the lounge.

Parking:
Complimentary on site parking is located in the back entrance of the inn. Electric plug ins are available during the winter.

Laundry Facilities:
We offer self catered laundry facilities on site available from 9:00AM to 5:00PM daily.

Storage for Sporting Equipment:
Complimentary secure storage for sporting equipment (golf clubs, bikes, skis and boards) is available as these items are not permitted inside guest rooms.

Check in time:
Check in time is between 3:00PM and 10:30PM. If arrival is any later than 10:30PM please inform us upon reservation and we will make arrangements for your late arrival. If you arrive early, you are welcome at the inn. If your guest room is ready you can check in immediately. If not, leave your luggage with us and go off for the day, or relax in the lounge.

Check out time:
Check out time is 11AM. Due to the care taken by our housekeepers, it is difficult for us to extend check out time.

Pets:
Sorry, but pets are not allowed at The Georgetown Inn.

Children:
Children are welcome at The Georgetown Inn. Bear in mind, however, the inn provides a mature atmosphere. In consideration of other guests, please ensure your children are well behaved. For families with young children, we recommend contacting the Travel Alberta information centre at 403-678-5277 for listings of accommodations suitable for young children.
