Banff Rocky Mountain Resort Description: We are nestled at the base of picturesque Rundle and Cascade Mountains in Banff National Park, just 4 km from downtown Banff.Additional Information: Experience a serene mountain setting while still enjoying all the comforts of home. The Banff Rocky Mountain Resort combines spectacular natural beauty with activities and amenities sure to make any visit to the Canadian Rockies memorable.We are nestled at the base of picturesque Rundle and Cascade Mountains in Banff National Park, just 4 km from downtown Banff. Close enough for quick access, yet far enough to enjoy all the pleasures of a mountain retreat. So come play in the timeless spectacle of the Canadian Rockies. The Banff Rocky Mountain Resort offers 171 guest rooms. The type of accommodation varies from standard suites to condominium style suites, some with wet bars and some with kitchens. All suites feature comfortable living room areas with gas or wood-burning fireplaces, cable television, hairdryers and data port phones. The suite types are as follows: Standard Suite one queen bed with pull-out couch, or two double beds, gas fireplace and wet bar. (maximum 4) Studio Suite one queen bed and double pull-out couch, wood-burning fireplace and kitchen. (maximum 4) 1 Bedroom Suite one queen bed in bedroom and double pull-out couch in living room, wood-burning fireplace and kitchen. (maximum 4) Loft Suite one queen bed in upstairs loft and double pull-out couch in living room, wood-burning fireplace, 1 ˝ baths, and kitchen. (maximum 4) 2 Bedroom Suite one queen bed in each bedroom and double pull-out couch in living room, wood-burning fireplace, 2 baths and kitchen. (maximum 6) Executive Suite one queen bed and double pull-out couch, gas fireplace, and wet bar. (maximum 4) Fairholme Suite one queen bed in loft bedroom, pull-out couch in living room, gas fireplace, wet bar with stools, 1 ˝ baths (jetted tub in main bathroom). (maximum 4) President's Suite Fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with wood-burning fireplace, bathroom, master suite with king bed, fireplace and ensuite bathroom with jetted tub, second bedroom with king or twin combination bed. (maximum 6) Amenities: Our amenities include:Season’s Dining Room A warm fire and a great menu combine to offer our guests casual dining in a cozy atmosphere. Canadian Rockies Cuisine. Open daily for dinner at 6:00 p.m.. Pepper’s Bar & Deli Offers lively cocktails, coffees and deli delights. Eat in and enjoy a game of darts or billiards, or grab a delicious snack to go. Open daily from 7:00 am – 12:00 am. Mountain Health & Fitness Club We offer a fully equipped exercise room with free weights, strength training & aerobic machines. The resort offers two squash courts, two outdoor tennis courts, indoor pool, indoor & outdoor hot tubs and sauna. There is also a registered massage therapist on site. We offer guests a variety of daily activities. Conference & Meeting Services The resort has four air-conditioned meeting rooms, the largest seating 140 people for a banquet. Audio-visual equipment is available on-site. We also offer spacious hospitality suites for private entertaining. Our Conference Coordinator can assist you with all of your meeting requirements. Shuttle Service The resort provides complimentary shuttle service for guests to downtown Banff - shuttle runs every hour from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm. Child Friendly Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is an accredited "Child Friendly" resort whose aim is to help children and teens feel respected and welcome during their stay. A complete "Child Friendly" package is presented to children at check in. Pet Friendly Banff Rocky Mountain Resort welcomes you and your pet. Since we are in a national park, we request that your pet be on leash and under control at all times. There is an extra pet charge of $15.00 plus tax per pet per night up to a maximum of two pets. Guest Laundry Facilities For your convenience, we offer coin operated laundry facilities with commercial duty washers and dryers. Dry cleaning services are available through the front desk. Our sports activities desk offers year-round daily activities and excursions for all ages. A weekly activities sheet is available to our guests upon check-in. Our staff can also provide brochures and information on activities in the area and will be happy to make bookings with local companies for you.
