Banff High Country Inn Description: The Banff High Country Inn is located in the heart of Banff, Canada. Our guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, and boast views of Cascade, Sulphur, or Tunnel Mountain! You will find our location convenient, as our Banff hotel is only two blocks from downtown's shopping and restaurants. Additional Information: After a long day of skiing or sightseeing around Banff, Canada, you will enjoy a dip in our indoor pool, or relaxing in our hot tub or sauna. If you aren't sure where to start with things to do, talk to our staff at the front desk. At the Banff High Country Inn, we are happy to help you book tours or activities. Room Descriptions: Standard One Queen These units are located throughout the hotel, with views of Cascade, Sulphur or Tunnel Mountain. Each room includes one queen bed, a private shower/bath combination, mini fridge, coffee maker, cable TV and air conditioning. Most rooms also include a private balcony. Standard Two Queen These units are located throughout the hotel, with views of Cascade, Sulphur or Tunnel Mountain. Each room includes two queen beds, a private shower/bath combination, mini fridge, coffee maker, cable TV and air conditioning. Most rooms also include a private balcony. Junior Family Suite Located on the first floor, these units provide a limited view of Cascade Mountain. Each room includes one queen bed and two twin beds in a semi-separate sleeping area. There is also a private shower/bath combination, mini fridge, coffee maker, cable TV, and air conditioning. Please note, these rooms do not have a balcony. Full Family Suite Located on both the second and third floor, each unit offers great views of Sulphur Mountain. Rooms include three queen beds (two regular and one Murphy bed) with one of the beds being located in a semi-private room. Also included is a private shower/bath combination, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, two cable TVs and air conditioning. All of these room types also include private balconies. Separate Sleeper Located on the second and third floor, these units offer great views of Sulphur Mountain. Executive Suite Located on the second floor, the Executive Suite offers a great view of Sulphur Mountain. This room includes two separate bedrooms, one queen and one king. The list of features also includes a private shower/bath combination, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, two cable TVs and air conditioning. Honeymoon Suite Located on the second floor, with great views of Cascade Mountain, the Honeymoon Suite is perfect for any special occasion. The room includes one king bed, a fireplace (electric), a jetted-oversized tub, a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, cable TV, air conditioning and a large private balcony. Disabled Access This unit, located on the first floor, is equipped with amenities to provide ease and comfort to those with physical challenges. The room includes one queen bed, a wheelchair accessible shower/bathroom, a bar fridge, coffee maker, cable TV, air conditioning and a balcony. Amenities: But we understand that Banff is about mountains. Our knowledgeable staff can direct you to hiking trails, riding stable and guided tours. Furthermore, we provide instant information on ski hill conditions and forecasts. Or perhaps a day around the Banff townsite is more to your taste. Only two blocks from famous Banff downtown, we provide easy walking access. Sample world-renowned shopping and attractions only minutes from your room. Our front desk is staffed 24 hours for guest convenience and security. Information on hotel amenities is available, as well as recommendations for sightseeing the Rockies. Guests may book tours or activities directly through the front desk staff. Situated on Banff Avenue, the hotel occupies a prime location, only two blocks from Banff's famous downtown. Winter
Contrary to popular belief, there is much more to do during a Banff winter than simply downhill skiing. Activities include snow shoeing, skating, ice walking, dog sledding, ice carving (spectator only), cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, sleigh rides, helicopter tours, bowling, swimming (indoor and heated outdoor), festivals, shopping, museum tours, photography, scenic drives, gondola rides, tobogganing, or sipping hot chocolate by an outdoor bon-fire. And of course, world class downhill skiing.
