Introduction to Whistler Resort
Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort is the travel destination for skiers and snowboarders from around the world. As the number one ski resort in North-America, Whistler has the largest ski area on the continent with over 7,000 acres of skiable terrain, 200 marked trails and 12 massive Alpine bowls.

Whistler lies amidst the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada just 120 kilometres/75 miles north of Vancouver. It's a charming alpine village and the home of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

Whistler is a carefully designed, four-season vacation resort reflecting a picturesque European alpine village. Harmoniously placed at the foot of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, and surrounded by a network of valley trails, it services more than 2 million people who visit the Resort annually.

In summer Whistler welcomes you to step into a world of sparkling lakes, lush forests, incredible vistas, and sun-drenched meadows. During this time, the Resort plays host to an array of sensational music festivals and continuous street entertainment. Colorful comedians, serenading musicians and animated magicians can be found throughout the village to bring the streets of Whistler to life all summer long.

The Village itself is considered a masterpiece in resort design. Situated in the heart of the resort community it has become a place that exemplifies the success of Whistler and the extent of what has been achieved. The design principles of the village - the gateways, views, pedestrian corridors, solar access, building scale and form - are a model for alpine village design and have been emulated by many other international resorts.

Whistler Accommodations
Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort features more than 5,200 rooms offered by brand name hotels such as the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, the Pan Pacific, and the Westin Resort and Spa. Property managers, B&B's, and private property owners add to the number of units available throughout the Resort.

Full service hotels, condominium units, townhomes, and luxury homes can be found in Whistler Village, the Upper Village, the Blackcomb benchlands, Village North, Nicklaus North Golf Course and the Whistler Creek Site.

Whistler has the most ski-in and out properties of any recreation mountain resort in North America.

Whistler Winter Activities
Whistler is renown for its consistent and excellent snow conditions. The average annual snowfall is 9.14 meters or 30 feet, complemented by extensive snowmaking systems. It is one of the reasons why Whistler Resort is the preferred vacation destination in winter for many people around the world.

Besides skiing and boarding, Whistler's winter wonderland also presents snowmobiling, heli-skiing snowshoeing, cross country skiing, dogsledding, and horse drawn sleigh rides.

Whistler Summer Activities
In addition to famous restaurants, engaging nightlife and a variety of shops, Whistler also offers a bounty of summer activities.

Three designer golf courses in the Whistler Valley, and four more spectacular courses in the Sea to Sky Corridor, have made Whistler a world-class golf destination.

Furthermore, to explore the beautiful wilderness, you are invited to go sight-seeing, hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, ATV-ing, flight-seeing, horseback riding, tennis, canoeing, swimming in the mountain lakes, rock climbing, paragliding, wild life viewing and of course summer skiing and riding.
