LOCATION: Located in Park City, Utah, Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Rocky Mountain's Wasatch Range just 36 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport.
SUMMER SEASON: Deer Valley's lift-served mountain biking and hiking season begins June 18th and continues through Labor Day, Wednesdays through Sundays and holidays (conditions permitting). After Labor Day, mountain biking is offered weekends only through September 19th (conditions permitting).
SUMMER ACTIVITIES: Summer activities abound at Deer Valley Resort. Lift-served mountain biking/hiking and scenic chairlift rides are available, along with shopping and concerts at the Snow Park Lodge Outdoor Amphitheater. Nearby activities include golf, tennis, swimming, horseback riding, fishing, hot air ballooning and shopping and dining along Park City's Historic Main Street.
MOUNTAIN BIKING: Lift-served mountain biking is available from the Silver Lake Lodge at mid-mountain via the Sterling chairlift and for the first time ever the Snow Park Lodge via the Silver Lake Express chairlift. Bikers and their bikes are transported to Silver Lake Village and the top of Bald and Bald Eagle Mountains where they can choose from an array of single- and double-track trails. Experienced bikers may choose one of our multi-use trails to ride up and bypass the lift. Deer Valley's Bike Rental Shop offers bike rentals, repairs and essential equipment for the rider. New this year! You may start your day at Snow Park Lodge. Deer Valley operates its own Mountain Bike School, offering mountain tours and trail riding clinics.
SCENIC RIDE/HIKING: The Sterling and Silver Lake Express chairlifts also transports hikers and sightseers up the mountain. At the top, hikers may leave the lift and explore over 20 miles of pristine multi-use trails, including a paved walking path to the Scenic Overlook. After exploring the area, they may either reboard the lift to return to the base or walk down one of the designated hiking trails.

MOUNTAIN BIKE SCHOOL: The Deer Valley Mountain Bike School operates Wednesday through Sunday, June 18th through September 19th (conditions permitting) and offers scheduled clinics and tours for all abilities. The Bike School is based out of the Silver Lake Village area. Riders can take advantage of our expanded Snow Park Lodge area with additional trails and easier terrain for less experienced bikers. MOUNTAIN BIKE RENTAL: Deer Valley's Bike Rental Shop is open Wednesday through Sunday and holidays from June 18th through Labor Day, then weekends only in September 19th (conditions permitting), from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Deer Valley's Bike Rental Shop is located at the Silver Lake Village mid-mountain area.
Bike rental rates include a helmet and complimentary water bottle. Accessories are also available for purchase.

OUTDOOR CONCERTS: Deer Valley's Outdoor Amphitheater is the site of the Utah Symphony summer series, music festivals and concerts. Home to summer Utah Symphony performances for the past 20 years, the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera, is pleased to announce a new entertainment format to enhance an already beloved summer music series. The Deer Valley Music Festival, July 24 – August 21, 2004 will encompass a month-long celebration of music, featuring performances of masterworks and pops at Deer Valley's renowned Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, chamber orchestra and guest chamber performances at Park City's St. Mary's Church, and a weekend of fully-staged, light operetta at Deer Valley as well as salon events in exquisite Deer Valley area homes, where guests will hear and meet artists on a personal level.

Deer Valley Etc. opened this past winter in Deer Valley's Snow Park Lodge serving specialty coffees, hot chocolate, soft drinks and bottled waters and snack items like candy bars, chips and trail mix. Guests can take their coffee to go, or enjoy it at an attractive copper bar and check their email at the Internet Café conveniently located in the store. Deer Valley Etc. also sells gift items like Deer Valley coffee mugs, books and accessories. Deer Valley Etc. will be the concert ticket sales location for Snow Park Lodge, as the Signatures store at this lodge will not be open during the summer months. Deer Valley Etc. is open daily, June 14th through Labor Day, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMPS: Deer Valley offers a popular summer day camp for children ages one to - 12 years. Age-appropriate activities for the 2004 summer include swimming, biking, scavenger and treasure hunts, team-oriented sporting events, a weekly field trip, art projects and volunteer experiences. The Summer Adventure Camp will operate Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, June 14 through Friday, August 20, 2004 (excluding holidays observed on Monday, July 5, and Friday, July 23). Reservations are recommended.
DINING: Royal Street Café is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays and holidays, June 18th through Labor Day. Located mid-mountain at Silver Lake Lodge, adjacent to the Sterling chairlift, Royal Street Café offers scenic deck dining and a casual menu including creative appetizers such as the shrimp and lobster margarita appetizer layered with papaya salsa and fresh guacamole and served in a margarita glass, salads, panini sandwiches and Turkey Chili.
During concerts at the Snow Park Lodge Outdoor Amphitheater, selections such as charbroiled hamburgers, focaccia chicken sandwiches, Caesar salad and fresh lemonade are available at the concession stand. Gourmet Picnic Baskets can be ordered with a 72-hour advance notice for dining on the mountain or during the Outdoor Amphitheater performances.
LODGING: Lodging through Central Reservations is available to suit all needs. Offerings include hotel rooms to private homes throughout Deer Valley and the surrounding area. Additionally, the Stein Eriksen Lodge, The Chateaux, The Lodges at Deer Valley and Goldener Hirsch Inn are open all summer. Deer Valley Central Reservations offers summer packages beginning at $69 per night, based on double occupancy. In addition, Deer Valley Central Reservations offers a deluxe hotel room package for $109 per night at The Lodges at Deer Valley. Packages booked through Deer Valley Central Reservations include two all-day, scenic chairlift ride vouchers. Utah Symphony tickets and additional person and/or nights may be added.
