Facts, Figures & Services for Steamboat Resort
Overview:
Steamboat is actually a complete mountain range: Mt. Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Christie Peak and Pioneer Ridge. 2,939 acres/1176 hectares of permitted terrain offer a diversity of trails for all ability levels. The first thing people notice - visitors and locals alike - is the land. The wide expanse of lush, green valley carpeted with wildflowers - the gentle rolling mountains leading you up to the rugged peaks of the Continental Divide - waterfalls, rivers, streams and lakes abundant with fish - fields, meadows and pastures resplendent with flowers, wheat and native grasses.
You don’t need to be an expert in geology to appreciate all that the land has to offer because there’s more to do per square mile in and around Steamboat Springs than just about any other resort community. From active recreational sports, to art and cultural events, to peaceful hikes in mountain forests, find out what happens when all the snow melts! Discover all Steamboat has to offer in the summertime!
