Musical, Cultural & Educational Events Strings in the Mountains Music Festival’s “Imagine that…” series for children: Late June-Mid-August Tuesdays from July 6-August 17, Strings in the Mountains features special mid-day concerts designed for children 2-12 and early evening concerts for the whole family. Steamboat Springs Free Summer Concert Series: June-Labor Day weekend Where else can the entire family enjoy a concert in the outdoors for free? In its 13th season, the Steamboat Springs free summer concert series will welcome a variety of artists to Steamboat Springs including Little Feat, bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Delbert McClinton, Sonia Dada, Galactic, South Austin Jug Band. Yampatika Field Seminars: May-September The whole family can join Yampatika to learn more about the Natural and Cultural resources of Northwest Colorado. Youth are taught environmental ethics and regional, natural, and cultural history through a partnership with the school system. Newly developed discovery processes offer hands-on, regional activities. Join them for their ongoing programs or other special events.
