SKIING / SNOWBOARDING

Copper Mountain is a great place to bring your family.  The mountain has plenty to offer for all ages and abilities. Our naturally divided terrain starts out with gentle, sloping runs on the west and gets progressively steeper as you head east. And we've got several wide-open bowls for advanced skiers and riders. Copper also has one of the best terrain parks and pipes in Colorado.

 

The Mountain

 

 Location:
Copper Mountain Resort is located 75 miles (121 kilometers) west of Denver off Interstate 70 at exit 195; easily accessible from Denver International Airport and Eagle Airport.

Base Elevation:
9,712 feet/2,926 meters

Summit Elevation:
12,313 feet/3,767 meters

Vertical Drop:
2,601 feet/793 meters

Skiable Acres:
2,450 acres/985 hectares make Copper the largest ski and snowboard resort in Summit County, Colorado.

Lifts:
22 total (1 six-person, high-speed lift; 4 high-speed quads; 5 triple chairlifts; 5 double chairlifts and 7 surface lifts)

Lift Capacity:
32,088 skiers per hour

Trails:
125 (21% beginner, 25% intermediate, 36% advanced, 18% expert)

Snowfall:
280 inches/710 centimeters

Snowmaking:
380 acres/154 hectares

Longest Run:
2.8 miles/5 kilometers

Cross Country:
25 kilometers of trails allow skiers to make their way through the picturesque White River National Forest.

Additional Activities:
Ice Skating, Snowshoeing, Tubing, Snowmobiling, Sleigh Rides, Dog Sledding, Dining in the Woods, Cross Country Skiing, Racquet and Athletic Club, Spa Facilities, Shopping, Dining, Après.
