Breckenridge's Adult Ski & Snowboard School
With more than 600 hundred professional instructors, gentle beginner slopes and high speed lifts Breckenridge has gained a reputation as being one of the best places in the country to learn to alpine ski, snowboard or telemark. For more advanced skiers and the riders, Breckenridge instructors utilize the resorts steep-and-deep slopes, mogul runs and award winning terrain parks to help guests obtain the skills needed to experience more of the mountain.

Private and group ski lessons are offered from Peak 8, Peak 9 and Beaver Run. Peak 9 and Beaver Run offer beginners access to some of the most gentle and longest beginner runs in the country while the Peak 8 area offers guests the newly re-graded beginner area and surface lift.
Our snowboard school has been given a dedicated run (Eldorado) which includes a warming hut and a bathroom facility along with a mini terrain park, this terrain is serviced by two moving carpets and a surface lift for your convenience. Learning to snowboard has never been this easy.
In addition, Peak 8's beginner experience just keeps getting better and better! Last season we started transporting our new skiers and riders to our teaching terrain. This season we have added a moving carpet and are re-grading our beginner teaching area.
- The Breckenridge Nordic Center has 20-miles of trails groomed daily for classical track and skate skiing for all ability levels as well as 10 miles of snowshoeing on scenic nature trails.
