Huntington Canyon/Eccles Canyon "Energy Loop" - Reaching an elevation of over 10,000 feet above sea level, the "Energy Loop" winds through the Manti-La Sal National Forest on state Routes 31, 264, and 96. A rich history of industrial development including coal-mining operations, coal-fired power plants, historic mining towns, mining camps, and a historic cemetery can be explored on this Scenic Byway through Castle Country.
