CLIMATE
The relatively dry climate in the Canadian Rockies is responsible for the unbeatable light, dry powder conditions. The variable temperatures are due to the high elevation and rugged topography. Chinook winds can bring springlike temperatures even in the middle of winter. Daytime highs range from –7C (19 F) in January to +9 C (49F) in April, and up into the mid 20’s (70’s F) during the summer months.
