Kids Ski Free
Kids 12 and younger ski free at Keystone when their parents book three or more nights at the resort. One child equilvalent ticket for every adult ticket product issued. Restrictions apply.
Adventure Passport
Every room reservation at Keystone includes free a Adventure Passport, providing guests with free ice skating, snowshoeing, yoga classes, wine tastings, free babysitting with Kids' Night Out and more. The Adventure Passport turns an average ski trip into a complete mountain vacation.
Free Family Activities
Keystone offers free activities every day of the week during the winter, such as Glowbug Skate Night, storytelling around a blazing fire with Redtail the Mountain Man and more. In January and February during Party in the Peaks Sundays are family days at the River Run Carnival. The Carnival will feature inflatable games, an ice skating party, music and the Giant Bungee Bounce. Guest welcome receptions every week during the peak season allow families to learn more about Keystone while enjoying free music, refreshments and activities, such as face painting for the kids.
New Children's Center in River Run
This year Keystone will have two Children's Centers, one in River Run and the other in the Mountain House Base Area, for ultimate convenience for parents. The Children's Centers offer daily childcare and fun, crafts and activities for kids two months to 12 years. The new center in River Run will feature a courtyard with a large tree in its center, as well as interactive games and individual break-out rooms for different age groups. The forest theme will prevail in the entire center, which will also be home to the Kids' Night Out program offered on the Adventure Passport.
Kids' Ski and Snowboard School
The resort offers full-day ski school for kids ages 4 to 14 and full-day snowboard lessons for kids ages 8 to 14. Special theme days feature environmental education and instruction in the terrain park. Keystone's Learn-to-Ski Program offers 3-year-olds a two-hour lesson in the morning and then an afternoon making arts and crafts and playing. Reservations are required. Keystone's Snowplay Program offers kids 3 and older a two-hour outdoor experience playing in the snow as well as indoor adventures. Mom, Dad and Me is a private lesson for children and their parents that gives instruction in a comfortable family group setting. Reservations are required for lessons.
